Visited the location a while back and enjoyed it. They do not cater to MJK fans. It is all about the wine. The location was what you would expect for high end, expensive wine. They also have a wine club. I have been a member...More

I had been waiting years to visit Jerome and this tasting room. It was busy - which is a great sign! However we were NEVER acknowledged by staff. Had to shimmy our way to the bar to be told to move and wait. Once we...More

We had a lot of wine in and around Sedona. This is the only place we bought a few bottles. Worth the stop.

We traveled here partially because we are wine lovers, but also partially because it's the winery of Maynard. We very much enjoyed our time here. My husband and I each did a tasting, one of whites and one of reds so we could both taste...More

We wanted to visit Caduceus Cellars for a tasting after having their wine the night before in Sedona. We have been to many wine tastings but this is the single most expensive ever for us. You can taste the red or white flights for $13....More

I will never give any wine, other than Boones Farm, a 1 star... Saying that the wine had decent structure but that was about it. Acidic, lack of depth and highly one noted (2015 Airavata). Grenache to me usually gives black cherry and raspberry on...More

I have been to wine tastings all over the world and came to Jerome specifically to taste Maynard's wines at Caduceus Cellars. Great atmosphere but the people working inside could not have been less helpful and again the word "snooty". His wines were OK but...More

Nice winery with very knowledgeable staff who are very informative and professional. Their wines are a little dry for me, but a good experience overall

Grand Canyon and Sedona (4 Replies)
My husband and I are going to a wedding in Chandler, AZ in late March. We have full 2 days/nights afterward to explore. I am thinking that the day after the wedding we will drive to the Grand Canyon, explore/spend the day there, then drive to Sedona to sleep for the night. Get up, explore Sedona and Caduceus Cellars (near Sedona), stay our second night in Sedona, then fly out the next day. Is this too much time in either place? Is there anything else we should consider seeing? What is the...More

It will take 5 hours to drive from Chandler to GCNP. You will not have time to explore much in a few hours in an afternoon at GCNP. You will not want to drive to Sedona after dark. It's not too much time in either place. It's actually not enough. It's really about as much time as you should spend in either location, 2 days/nights, and Sedona would really need more. I would choose one or the other. If you chose GCNP, you could return passing through Sedona and get a brief taste of what is...More
