This concrete jail is one example of the many structures that have slid down Cleopatra hill in which the unstable town of Jerome was built and rebuilt on. All the instability was caused by the blasting below ground to extract the mineral ore.
The structure is falling apart but is definitely worth the look. It’s hard to find but if you find the basketball court it is directly below the court. Steps are off to the left and the placard description is at the top of the stairs.
