We had a large family picnic here and it was perfect for all ages. There were clean, well lit ramadas, volleyball-sand pit, basketball courts, baseball batting cages, lake with ducks and to my surprise - even a carousel. The community felt safe. I wish we had a park like this back home in Tucson!

A very cute park, though I think it's definitey focused on children. Lots of playground areas, and areas to relax and hang out. It was clean and well maintained.

We held an animal blessing there and we had little interference. There is a lake, paved walking paths, a train ride for kids, and lots of open areas. Nice restrooms and picninc tables.

This park is just down the road from me and it became a staple for my kids and myself. We flew rockets, iceblock sliding down the hills, riding the train and using the batting cages just to name a few of the things that we did at this park. I son used the hills to train and so did I.... More

I have taken my children to this park for years and it has always been a pleasant place to visit, with a picnic lunch or just for a walk. There is a train that goes around the park as well as other rides and a few playgrounds, yet never too crowded to enjoy. You can feed the ducks too as... More

Freestone has a lake, a merry-go-round and a train, how much more can you ask for? This is Arizona and the answer the the previous question is shade. Freestone has tons of shade. Lots of benches, in shade. Play areas, in shade. They have a great baseball area where local rec. teams play. They have a skate park that helps... More

Found Freestone on Trip Advisor, and took my 4 y old grandson to check it out. What a lovely, clean facility! Much more to this than typical kids climbing sets. Nicely done water areas that seem to feed off of a central waterfall complex. Things to do here for all ages and interests. Small amusement type area with carnival rides... More
