Freestone has a lake, a merry-go-round and a train, how much more can you ask for? This is Arizona and the answer the the previous question is shade. Freestone has tons of shade. Lots of benches, in shade. Play areas, in shade. They have a great baseball area where local rec. teams play. They have a skate park that helps... More

Found Freestone on Trip Advisor, and took my 4 y old grandson to check it out. What a lovely, clean facility! Much more to this than typical kids climbing sets. Nicely done water areas that seem to feed off of a central waterfall complex. Things to do here for all ages and interests. Small amusement type area with carnival rides... More

No matter who you are or what your interests are, you will find something of interest in this expansive park. Solitude - accented by tumbling waterfalls, excitement of a skate park, a train ride, open shade, carousel, fishing, - it goes on and on. What a gem in Gilbert

This park is good if you need a place to wind down. It's a great place to walk your dog, and it has a kiddie playland

Freestone has 3 separate play structures as well as 2 lakes, a rail road, skate park, volleyball and basketball courts. There's a nice trail that goes around the park. The play structures are all for older kids, there are a couple things for toddlers in each structure but it's so busy with the bigger kids it's not really accessable to... More

Stopped by briefly with the grandkids, ages 10 and 11, to take a break and get outside. This is a lovely park, and we probably only explored a tiny part of it. There is a lake, a nice playground, lots of open grassy areas to run around in, and a small carnival area. Most of the rides are designed for... More

Softball, volleyball, soccer, football, skate-park, walking trails, ramadas & grills, pond, and small amusement park with a miniature train ride, miniature ferris wheel. Great park. Plenyt of ducks - love going to see the nests and hatchlings in the Spring. Our boys go there to skate all the time.

My kids love coming here and doing the day pass. It is only a couple of dollars and gives them access to the rock wall, basketball and racquetball courts, and more. They could spend hours here in an air conditioned environment. Perfect summer activity!
