Gilbert has worked very hard to keep their small town feel with really nice up to date choices. You can go from Zinburger to Joe's BBQ which has been downtown almost forever (been there that long because it's that good). The Hale Theater lets you experience local actors at their best. Take a stroll (not in summer) to the original... More

Many places to eat and good food. Come in the fall when the weather is under 100 degrees and enjoy a walk around the downtown area. Visit the water park and let them enjoy the water they, bring dry clothes for the kids - and Mom and Dad if they want to enjoy it with the kids. Parking is pretty... More

For years I drove down Gilbert Road, right through the center of town, quite boring. No more! It has exploded with super restaurants. It would take some time to try each one and there are constant additions to the line-up. Don't believe me...give it a try.

Downtown Gilbert has quite a few great restaurants, the Hale Theater along with antique shoppes, local businesses and the farmers market with occasional craft fairs. Also, the Historical Museum is just up the street.

Excellent food and fun! The foodtrucks gather Friday evenings near the theater parking lot, Warner and Gilbert. The number and cuisine varies greatly from week to week, but we have not had a bad dinner yet. The heat has diminished the crowds. Hope the trucks keep coming! Live music last time, too!

I love close to downtown and go there on a regular basis. All of the new restaurants are amazing. They also have farmers market on Saturdays that has a great selection of food and gifts and food trucks. There is a theater, two antique shops, and my favorite jewelry store on the south end before Elliot.

Great restaurants, great atmosphere. Wonderful environment whether visiting with family, or enjoying a nice evening out with friends. Even in the summer! The ever present misters keep you cool and its fun to duck in at one place for a beverage and then stroll up and down the street till you are thirsty again! Plenty of great food choices too... More

Gilbert is one of the safest, friendliest towns in the USA. And now with a revitalized downtown, one of the most fun. On Gilbert Road there is a new restaurant strip with amazing food, ambiance and great prices. You will not be disappointed

Downtown Gilbert used to just be a pass through - small shops with nothing really much to talk about. Over the past few years, this area has been revitalized with a myriad of offerings, and has become a hot-spot in the East Valley. Barrio Queen; Lolo's Chicken and Waffles; Pomo; Postino - just to name a few of the wonderful... More
