Contrary to previous review comment, there was nothing about WWII internment camp at the museum when we visited in May 2019.

We have always been on the lookout for places to visit when in Tucson over the years and this museum was within a few hours of Tucson for a pleasant day trip. We found the exhibits quite interesting and some of the details about southwestern...More

There are small exhibits on the Hohokam, the Oatman massacre, and the interment camp during WWII. These are interesting if you want to learn more. The rest is just a hodgepodge of antiques.

Some “Expectation Management “ is needed to enjoy this museum. It’s one room run by volunteers in a small town in the desert, not the Smithsonian. The door is not well marked. The street address was correct, so we found it ok. It was open...More

During several months it gets down to barely above freezing and room temp in the day. However during the summer it can reach 120 and stay at 100 even at night.
