Don't expect it to be a traditional tour, because it's anything but that! Our guide Jesse was so great and knowledgeable! We had a lot of fun exploring the desert and Jesse made sure we have time to take pictures, he also made stops on the way so we can see things better (flowers, cactus etc.). We've learnt so much and would absolutely do it again! Jesse is a Rockstar!

WOW. We connected with this group thru the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, Az. It was a 2 hour Jeep ride thru the Sonora desert. Our guide/driver was both extremely knowledgeable about the desert but also very funny. He made sure our 10 yr old grandson had a great time with both the drive and learning about the desert. We would recommend this tour, with Jessie, to anyone who wants to learn, while having fun, about the desert. A DEFINITE 5 Star tour.

Some friends and I took a 3-4-hour desert tour with this company. Jesse was our tour guide and was very good. He tailored the tour to what the group of four of us preferred with regard to speed over bumpy terrain and telling the history of the desert. I learned a lot about the cacti and how to survive in the desert if ever necessary. None of the cacti were in bloom, as it was too late in the season, but it was still good to see several different type of cacti and learn about them. I would recommend taking this tour but keep in mind that you travel over some rough terrain and it is a bumpy ride in an open jeep, so if you have a bad back or other issues, it may not be a good idea. Cost was $100 per person and couldn't find any discounted coupons on line or locally.

We did a Jeep tour into the Sonoran Desert with Jesse. He was great. He was fun and full of information. We learned about different types of cacti, even ate cactus fruit, and walked by the side of a creek. We saw a rattlesnake basking in the sun on our path. To be at a resort in the Phoenix area and not go out into the desert is a mistake. Wayward Wind is a winner and Jesse is too!
