I've recommended this park to many visitors and phoenix residents. This fountain is the namesake and sight that is fun for everyone. There is a lovely walk around the perimeter, a great playground for the little ones, ducks and waterfowl and the highest fountain I've seen that goes off for 10 mins at the top of each hour. A man... Views are beautiful walking around Fountain Park. You will see the fountain once per hour for about 15 min. An excellent chance to take in some beautiful Arizona sunshine while getting some steps in for the day!

Saw it from Highway 87 from 10 miles away! We couldn't figure out what it was, so we exited in Fountain Hills and followed the water. 300' high, and in a beautiful lake and city park. We walked the 1 1/4 mile path around the fountain twice, and came back after sunset and saw it lit up. A beautiful site.... More

Just as we pulled in to the area, the Fountain was greeting us with an explosion of water. Fun and beautiful. When we left for dinner that evening it was greeting us again! A nice touch for a nice town.

The fountain operates several time during the day. quite sight to see in a desert setting. I was assured that the water was not potable.

We went to see the fountain at night. The base was lit and there were spotlights shining on the water as well. It was VERY beautiful sight! The fountain stays on for about 10 minutes. There is a sidewalk path that goes around the whole lake, but we did not walk around the whole thing. There were a lot of... More

Being able to walk on an even cement path around a lake (1.25 miles total) in the desert is in itself enjoyable. On a sunny afternoon we saw lots of people enjoying the walk with friends, children, and dogs. There are other activities too - a children's park, veterans monument, lots of sculptures, and a disc golf course. We walked... More

What a pleasure to watch at the top of the hour for the emergence of the fountain's spray! Lit up at night, Fountain Hills own topography allows it to be visible for miles. Here in the middle of the desert such a sight is thrilling indeed.
