I'm assuming that if you're in the Elgin/Sonoita area, you must be looking for wineries to visit and Flying Leap is one of the best. It was established by pilots and test pilots which accounts for the name and a nicer and more competent group...More

Highly recommend a stop at this winery if you're traveling in the area. It has excellent wines and is a beautiful, well kept vineyard and buildings. Reminded me of the wineries I had visited in Napa Valley years ago.

This was the absolute most AMAZING wedding venue. Mark Beres and the rest of the crew at Flying Leap went above and beyond the contract to accommodate our wedding. The day was absolutely perfect and the view was breathtaking! I would recommend Flying Leap to...More

I think the Flying Leap was the most expensive place to do wine tasting. They wouldn’t letus just taste red wine. They made us do white wine tasting too. Customer service wasn’t great. . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed.More

Dear 367kayg, thanks for the feedback. Because you don't provide much, if any specific (or more substantive detail) about how we failed to meet your expectations, I can only address your vague and aimless negative comments with general notes about the topics you complained about....More

Had a delightful afternoon tasting and learning at the Flying Leap Vineyard today. Beautiful facility with very knowledgeable staff. Tasting included a memorable wine glass. Also, as part of the facility is a distillery with fine vodkas and brandies which also has a tasting. Great...More

Stopped in without researching this place. The tasting room was busy, so we took our glasses out to the porch and sat on a comfy couch. The winery workers were friendly and helpful - one man brought the bottle out to us when it was...More

WInes and people were very nice. Tasting price was almost double everywhere else but no noticeable value for that extra cost. One of the larger operations in the area. Worth a trip.More

Thanks for the feedback. Our tasting fee is $12.99, which includes a minimum of 7 x 1oz samples of wine. This is very comparable to a glass of premium wine at any restaurant setting in our or most other markets. If a customer purchases a...More
