We visited on Saturday evening and were welcomed as soon as we arrived! Our server took GRRAT care of us and joked right along with us about one of our friends lack of wine knowledge. He even went the extra mile when the same friend inquired about purchasing corks for one of her children and gave her a whole bag... More

Our wine tasting experience at Stronghold in Cottonwood was a treat! We saved some money by going through groupon and received way more value than anticipated. Comfortable atmosphere, generous portions, different flight choices, unique cheese platter, free wine glass to take home and just friendly workers in general! I would highly recommend!

We stopped here on recommendation from another local business employee. It was a great value to use the groupon, which included two wine tastings with complimentary glasses and a cheese plate. Jadrian was very attentive and explained the wines well. We enjoyed the atmosphere and wine! Wanted to purchase wine, but didn't want to add too much weight to our... More

This is an adorable little progressive town. Very artsy – I loved it. We bought a metal javelin and had it shipped home. Stopped and had some wine and appetizers. Drove through this on the way to Jerome. Stop here no need to go further. So much fun.

Love that AZ is capitalizing on the winemaking industry. For the past decade, the media has been touting the health benefits of wine consumption in moderation, which has spurred interest in wine tasting. Wine tourism is becoming more popular, & the future looks promising for the winemakers here. Wineries offer vineyard tours / show the winemaking process &/or provide tasting... More

Stopped in here with some friends after a kayaking trip around 5 pm on a Saturday and the place was packed and HOT inside! They need more staff to accommodate the amount of people inside. We had a groupon and got to take home our glasses after we did the wine tasting and also had a cheese platter which was... More

Been a few years since we stopped in. Still very comfortable, very nice knowledgeable staff. Will not rush you, stop in and enjoy the tasting menu. They also offer cheese platters and other small bites. Stand by the tasting bar or relax on the couches or at tables or in the patio in back. We are red wine folks so... More

I visited this location last year with my wife and it was an early stop on this year's trip to the Grand Canyon on a father-daughter adventure (we're both well past the drinking age limit!). The service was again excellent with my daughter being allowed to try a few different wines without having to pay for one of the expensive... More
