- Rachel CApalachin, New York68 contributionsBeautiful, relaxing spot for a wine tasting! My friend and I visited for an afternoon wine tasting in January. She sampled several red wines; I tried several white wines. We shared a cheese board while we enjoyed the wines and a beautiful view from our table on the deck. So pleasant from start to finish! Stick around after your tasting and walk down to the pretty creek, too.Visited January 2024Written January 30, 2024

We really enjoyed the private tour and all the behind the scenes knowledge. The lunch was also outstanding and gave us a chance to enjoy more of the wine. Beautiful grounds. Highly recommend a visit. - Tiffany HLouisiana9 contributionsNo Whining About the Wine ExperienceThis tour is for the novice wine tasters. Our guide/sommelier was Kaden, who was very knowledgeable about the wines they produce and the process. The tour is around their bottom portion 3.5 acre vineyard, where you see a fresh water spring and creek, where wine is pressed and fermented (it's not stomped on anymore) to the cellar where the last of the process happens. Tastings are along the way in a glass that you can purchase. Lunch is available indoors or on the patio. It is a bit pricey but tasty. They get a lot of foot traffic, so make reservations. Also, don't expect to taste any sweet wines unless you go during their harvest time, more like August to October, but they are known to produce more dry wines.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 5, 2024
- ECTravelerWilliamsburg, Virginia212 contributionsWine Stop Along The Way.We decided to try a local winery on our way from Sedona to Phoenix, and PSC seemed like the best option after looking online at several in the area. I got the reserve tasting, and two bonus wines to compare. My husband for the combo flight, the first two whites having almost nothing to them being so light. He still seemed to like them. I was hoping for heavier reds for the "heavy" red column. The Dark Star sounded really good, and it was, I just wanted heavier. It was a different experience than the East Coast wines we are used to. The musician that day had an interesting vibe, but everything played was on repeat every few seconds, and it got to be irritating after a while listening to the same line 40 times in 15 minutes. Would've preferred no use of a loop pedal.Visited July 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten July 10, 2024
- Christa D19 contributionsLovely afternoon experience.Lots of surprises for us here. We are from the other side of the country where there are lots of wineries. This is definitely a up and coming winery are compared to where we are from, but still a nice experience. Was not expecting to find this in a desert region. What a lovely place. Beautiful scenery, great access to a lovely spot on the river, nice wine tasting session, good views, they were even going to have a movie night but we didn’t get to stay for that. If you are in the area, you should stop here!Visited July 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten July 28, 2024

We did a wine tour and booked a massage package that included an hour long couples massage, a bottle of wine, and a charcuterie board.
The wine tour, wine, and charcuterie board were all incredible. 5/5 would do again.
The massage was so bad we literally laughed about it on the way home. The massage therapists used really light pressure, to the point where they were basically glorified back rubs. They would sometimes just stop and rest their hands on our shoulders or heads- which, unless you are laying hands and asking to spirit to heal my tight trapezius muscles, is not all that effective. My therapist worked on my chest a lot- to the point where it felt like she was trying to make it to 2nd base. The best part of the whole experience was that my husband opened his eyes at some point to see his therapist waving two tuning forks over his body as some sort of “rebalancing” that sounded like what someone might do if they were trying to parody some sort of spiritual healing.
Giving it 3 stars because the wine and charcuterie board were fantastic and because the experience of hearing my husband describe his “rebalancing” was so funny it made up for part of the expense.

The process of waiting outside and seating inside needs to be improved so that those waiting for over an hour or more receive the attention necessary to make a good experience. In addition, the waiter for the inside seating area needs some re-training.
We are locals. I have taken three different out-of-town relatives to Page Springs in the past month. One of those experiences was good and two were quite uncomfortable.
Today was the third experience and will be my last trip to this business.
We waited for over an hour for a table on the patio. Despite being first in line, they seated two parties (who had registered after us) before us and so we were left with a table in the full sun. No umbrella was available and they refused to shift the table a few inches to the left or right to put it in the shade. We were forced to the inside where there was no atmosphere and a very snarly waiter.
The waiter proceeded to sit down at the table with my friend and I as soon as we were seated....and then proceeded to lecture us. He said he wanted to have a good experience and he was going to need some respect in order for that to happen. When I questioned him as to whether or not we had been disrespectful, he mentioned that since we were unhappy about having to move inside and we complained....he had to tell us he was not interested in that kind of an experience. So, he wanted to adjust our attitudes and get them in line with his requirements.
I have honestly never been in the presence of someone who was waiting on tables with that kind of an attitude.
Perhaps that is the way Page Springs is doing things these days. If so, good luck! We will be going to have a Javalina Leap and Tumbleweed and Merkin.

The owner was absolutely rude and the most unaccommodating individual I have encountered in years. Our party traveled two hours to attend a tasting and he literally told to to move along... Agreed that our tour company may have dropped the ball but to be so openly rude to us all was unacceptable.

Decent wine and terrible customer service model. We came on a Sunday shortly after they opened and were told that we have to wait about 45 minutes to get inside. Alternative? Stand outside and wait or stand outside and get a bottle of wine and find some outdoor seating if able. There are so many other wineries in the area that can get you in and will take care of you.

I have been wanting to take my mom to Cornville/Cottonwood area to try the local AZ wineries. We finally made it to Page Springs Cellars for lunch recently on a Mother/Daughter trip to Sedona.
The patio area is wonderful (even in the AZ Summer Heat), and overlooks the vineyards that our waitress (DeAnna) was sure to point out the names and which wines came from which vineyard. The service DeAnna provided was wonderful and she was fun and interesting to talk to about each of the wines we sampled. We ordered a couple of appetizers as we didn't want to fill up too much for a dinner we had planned in Sedona later that evening. We chose the Mediterranean Sampler, and were in no way disappointed! Presentation was beautiful, food was fresh and there was PLENTY for both of us to enjoy. The Burtata Foccacia was wonderful. Each of teh wines we sampled were delicious, and we both left with a bottle of our fvorite choice as well as 2 really cute glasses from our tasting flight.
We visited in August (it was 98 degrees the day we went), and my mom is asking when can we go back and REALLY enjoy the patio and surroundings. We plan to be back before the year's end!
The memories I made with my mom during our 2 hour visit to Page Springs Cellars will last a lifetime!

Come, relax, enjoy the grounds (winery sits on Oak Creek...very peaceful and calm). Yes, there may be a wait; we enjoyed it at their outdoor table with a bottle of wine served by a friendly host. Inside was intriguing with indoor and patio seating. We explored flights of five wines (include one Reserve flight) in a booth surrounded by artwork, again with a great host. The baked spinach artichoke dip was tasty.

Long wait to get in (45+ minutes) - we only did the tasting at the bar, service was really slow (10 minutes before 1st pour and another 10 before 2nd pour until we complained), wine was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the wait. They’re just focused on pushing people through rather than providing a good experience. Manager was rude and dismissive throughout and essentially said “too bad, so sad”. Go to DA Ranch or Oak Creek instead.

We lucked out and went to this winery right when it opened so because of this we were able to get in line and get the very "last" table outside to have lunch and do a wine tasting. The wine and the food were amazing!!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!!!! However, as many of the other reviews state..... when you arrive to this winery you have to check in at the hostess desk to do a wine tasting or have lunch. Which ties up the lines to get in which I can only imagine makes the wait crazy long. I don't understand why you have to be officially seated to have a wine tasting. This place should have a bar area where people can just walk in, hang out by the bar and just do wine tastings. You limit yourself for more people to enjoy in your beautiful winery. Plus, who wants to stand in a long line, outside in the hot/cold weather just for a wine tasting. There is some major improvements this place needs to focus on. If you want to visit this winery I suggest you go early and I mean 10-15 minutes "before" they open. Once in, you will definitely enjoy yourself. And, I thought the wines were very very good. I bought 2 red wines to take home.

We took a tour at Page Springs while having a girls weekend. The tour was actually really fun with good information about the wine making process. There were multiple wines sampled and it was fun to see back in the cellar. While I didn’t overly enjoy the wine (I’m not a huge wine person), the experience was fun with friends and I’d recommend it for others. It would be super fun to go back sometime between August and October when they’re actually processing bottles and fruit.

I have visited Paige springs many times and my friend I went with on this occasion has been a member receiving quarterly shipments for many years. I would caution anyone going on a wine tour to avoid what we experienced. The host said one of the members of our group was over served after visiting one winery that morning and did not let our entire group enter the winery. Verde valley has limited cell service and we were forced to sit on the patio for an hour+ waiting for a private taxi service. Although the establishment had every right to refuse service, I’ve never felt targeted in this way as a group of 30+ year old women trying to enjoy a day and have lunch. I think the way the host treated us was incredibly disrespectful and I had not had that type of experience prior. As isolated as these wineries are given their location, it was difficult to secure a way home with a large group of women and we were forced to remain outside without water. A tale of caution for those traveling in groups for an event in which you intend on drinking wine and enjoying your day.
