Its a great place however there were a few things that were not explained to us. This reservation was for a birthday celebration so it was something special. I booked a suite for 4 but we only got 2 breakfast voucher. The view for the balcony is of a construction zone and we were not told that our suite only gets housekeeping every 3 days. I dont know if it was worth it. Dissapointing.

For second time in two years, this was the first place we played when coming here for a January golf vacation from Minnesota. Staff here is ver friendly. Green fees are modest. Fairways broad. Some water but overall not challenging. Greens somewhat slow..

We flew in from Minnesota and made this our first golf outing - eager to enjoy and had played here previously. They were 25 minutes late on tee times. We had to wait for a that time for a cart; 5 some (which is not supposed to happen had helped backed up the course.
Course is very flat, not many interesting holes. Tee for #13 is quite close to tee for #9.

Fantastic Hotel! The Customer Service was excellent! The amenities especially the pool and workout areas were my favorite part of the stay. We can't wait to book this hotel again. Excellent location, endless restaurants to visit!

I haven't played here for a few years and I am always happy whenever I have played it again.
Old style course with real sand in the bunkers. Plays long but very fair

This course is a great vacation golf course. It’s just difficult enough to make it interesting. We’ve visited 3 times and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant is very good. I’m sure we’ll return.

San Marcos is one of Chandler’s oldest golf course, established 1918. It's part of the San Marcos Resort but looks like a typical municipal golf course.

Overall, it's flat. The tree-lined course is great in summer for shade from the heat. The holes are mostly straight. The yardage markers are painted on the cart path and round plaques on the fairway which always are kept in shape. There are more bunkers than water hazards when compared to Kokopelli Golf Course down the street. The greens are fast but flat.
I have a mid level handicap and find this course fun. With friends, is a great time, especially when we forget that the greens are surrounded by bunkers forcing us to get our minds back in the game.
For the price, it's decent. There is water to drink at every hole, the carts work great, the hospitality cart makes frequent stops. Saw several people walking the course.

Played 18 holes here last week. The course was well kept and staff were exceptionally friendly!

Would rate this as medium in terms of challenge. Fairways were pretty forgiving but did have to shoot over water on several holes.

All in all very enjoyable and will play again when visiting Chandler.

had 20 old retired guys come up from our retirement community to play. We got a super deal at $26 for golf and lunch. Course showed some stress like a lot of them now in Arizona but the greens were in great shape and the course was really a fun, challenging tract. Lots of huge old fir trees and watch out for the canal that runs through the course. You will enjoy Al Capone's hideaway and his home off the 13th fairway.....would definitely play this again
