Celebration of Ray Charles and his music
Feb 2020 • Couples
Well, this is a nice venue.
Beer, wine, snacks....take it to your seat. Great tiered seating. More intimate than other venues. (I honored the request of no flash photos inside, otherwise I would have posted some.)
Had a great time and will watch for upcoming events. Less than 25min drive from west side Phoenix (post rush-hour).

Interesting
Feb 2020
This time, I did not find too many things of interest in the programming, but I must give them high ratings for seating (all tiered), plenty of parking and great location in downtown Chandler, surrounded with happening places to eat. It’s not as good when it comes to on-time performance. You can buy drinks in the Lobby and take them inside to consume during the performance. I also did not like it that they do PR prior to the performance: I was there to listen to the music of Ray Charles, for goodness sake, not to the Executive Director of the Center…

Great venue
Feb 2020 • Couples
Went to see Johnny Lang last night at Chandler Center for the Arts. It was our first time in that venue. It was a great,¢ small venue experience. The sound was excellent and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. We definitely recommend CCA and we are definitely going to look for more entertainment to enjoy at the center!

Great venue for a concert
Sep 2019
I recently attended the India Arie concert here and it was fabulous. No matter where you sit in the theater, you are able to see and hear exceptionally well. The acoustics are amazing, staff is super friendly and you can tell that they take great pride in the upkeep of the building. Only issue is parking, so make sure you arrive early. Especially if it's a sold out show. If you can't find a park, there are extra parking lots on the opposite side of the theater on Chandler Blvd. I will definitely return if they book another one of my favorite artists.

Worst Show - My Entire Family Passed Out from Boredom
Mar 2019 • Family
1. Long boring monotone performances with sub-basic attractions
2. Dull in-between music and light animations that went for +5 minutes and felt like 'fillers' to kill time
3. Poor bubble making performances - with artists keeping popping their own bubbles

If you are looking for a place to sleep for $100 for 90 minutes, this is for you!

If you are looking to legally torture your arch-nemesis, this is the perfect show for such purpose.

BUT if you intend to entertain your family with children, DON'T. They will thank you for giving-back 90 minutes to their precious lives. 90 minutes that my family and I will never get back!

Overall, I feel nauseous about the afterthought of going... but don't listen to me, find out for yourself! And while you are at it, bring along a comfy pillow for your little loved ones. They will need it ... and a barf bag for yourself! =)

We went here for a show, enjoyed the seats, stage, ease of parking, and uniqueness of the theater, that I highly recommend this place. And BTW, beer and wine is served. We’ll be back.
