We went to Rawhide several times when company from the North where in town. That is, the old, original Rawhide when it was located south of Phoenix. We have been to the new location once but find it "to much Hollywood" and too sanitized. Yes, it is now more amusement then Rawhide but that is probably what the masses want.... More

My daughter and I visited this western town a few months ago. We came back to Arizona in February with rest of family and wanted to take them also. We caught the gun fight show this time which was funny and not too expensive. The town itself is free to come into and look around, little shops to purchase things... More

We travelled down the i10 south of Phoenix from our hotelto Rawhide it took us around 45 minutes. This is a man made self purpose cowboy town. The attraction is free to enter but the shows and rides are not free. From the moment you stand outside the gates of Rawhide the experience starts as cowboys and cowgirls entertain you... More

We had a good meal, the food was typically American and service was good but pass on the gunfight. It's amateur hour, mostly lame jokes, inexpert performances and not worth the $5! The town itself is quaint and if you are not going to any genuine western towns this will do as a taste of what the wild west used... More

While visiting a friend of mine in AZ, she brought us ( and her son) here. Her son LOVED it and it was pretty cool too. I think if it was a little more filled it would have been more fun but had a great time watching her son run around and play! The margaritas and beers flow and the... More

It's an interesting place to visit, especially if you have kids as they provide lots of kids friendly attractions. But as we were without any kids we didn't have much to do. The performers were really nice and high energy but restaurants looked quite empty

I really wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately on a Sunday afternoon there wasn't much to do for adults. The horse carriage/ride was on a break from 4-6:30 (!?!) and the other rides are geared for kids. The actors were great and it's fun to see a "courthouse wedding" or a kid "thrown in jail" for "being on her... More

Not quite how I remembered it as a kid. Drive to Tuscon and see Old Tuscon, it is much better. This had the feel of a tourist trap.

Great atmosphere, food and fun. Year round. You can go to Raw Hide any time of year. If you go in the summer you will want to go in the evening. Enjoy.
