Wow. This was a wonderful stop. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that is able to answer any questions you may have about the area. Suggestions were made for places to visit. My husband "drove" the train that goes around the inside of the building. This is also a museum.

Just stopped by to get some information and they had some interesting historical memorabilia around. We stayed about 40 minutes. Reception staff was cheerful and happy to answer all our questions.

Better than just about any Visitor Center in Arizona. Super courteous staff, hands-on exhibits, great videos, maps and hand outs.

We stopped at this very modest looking trailer visitor center and were met by a lovely woman who furnished us with a whole bag of flyers and brochures about what to see in the Phoenix, Tuscon area. They had brochures and information on just about everything worthwhile seeing in the State of Arizona. If you are on your way to Karchner Caverns, from Tucson, and pass this place be sure to stop in. You will be rewarded with enough information to keep you going for several weeks of touring.

We stopped by on December 27. I have lived in Arizona 29 years and have never really done anything in Benson except to drive through. We decided to travel down to do some sightseeing on the cheap. I had to use the restroom. The restrooms were clean and I was grateful that there was a public restroom available. The exhibits drew me in to stay and read about the history of the San Pedro Valley. I love Cochise County. Thanks to the visitors center I found more adventures to go on.

My husband and I loved this visitor center. The staff are very nice and you get a good over view of the history of Benson. If you want postcards this is a good place to purchase. I would definitely go back.

The Visitor Center is in the old railroad depot of Benson. It is such a valuable place, as not only can you get pertinent, detailed and up to date information about the surrounding area, but there are also maps and brochures of other Arizona cities and counties.
There are some historical artifacts on display, as well as many photos of early Benson. The Railroad Station has been remodeled, so it has conveniences (air/conditioning, modern bathrooms, etc.), yet the restoration has kept the building's integrity.
There is parking for 10 cars, and sometimes all spots are full. We see license plates from all over. Many travelers avail themselves of all the information they can obtain here, plus it's a nice little break on a road trip. We stop here every time we pass it.
The people working there are the nicest. They are so helpful, know about everything in the area, and will go over maps to help you get there. You can also buy postcards here.

We enjoyed seeing the working train and reading about the history of Benson. The lady was super friendly and helpful. Great place for kids of all ages!

The lady at the Visitor's Center was very friendly.
They had a beautiful of a cowboy.
There was a train that worked really well.
The lady gave us a lot of pamphlets.
A must see!
