We, a family of four including two kiddos, had an unforgettable afternoon with Walt. The scheduled 8:00 a.m. that morning did not give us a good weather for the flight to Colony Glacier. We, instead, visited the Reindeer Farm in Palmer and other parks in Wasilla. Walt kept communication with us all day long. We had drizzling and downpour till the sky turned better.
We started our trip at 4:00 p.m. and visited Knit and Colony Glaciers. The breathtaking views and Walt's explanations left us a lifelong memory. Walt's experienced skills in taking off, landing, and flying made us feel safe and comfortable. Two kids fell in sleep on our way back :)
We highly recommend this aviation to any family and individual-- affordable price, excellent service, flexible schedule, and great choices of views.

What a wonderful experience! Everything was so smooth from the very beginning from setting up an appointment with a nice and kind Bonnie to coming to the field for our flight. It was my second time flying but I have learned so much.
Our pilot, Mallory Smyth is a gem and fantastic pilot! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and a safe pilot. He was able to get us close to the glaciers, pointed out wildlife, and thoroughly entertained us. Highly recommended, you will not regret!

We had an amazing experience flying over the Knik glacier! Mallory the pilot made it fun and informative and was wonderful to work with. The views were amazing! My husband couldn't believe that he actually got to FLY the plane. This sure was a treat that we would recommend - we actually did recommend it to others we saw throughout the rest of our Alaska trip - ha!

I used Legends Aviation for flight training to receive my tailwheel endorsement and worked with Mallory. Mallory was punctual, reliable, thorough, enthusiastic and has a great understanding of the aircraft. He has a wonderful way of explaining aerodynamics in a way that is understandable and applicable. He is a skilled pilot with a great attitude. I would recommend anyone doing their training to work with Mallory!

My niece and I joined Mallory Smith for an initial flight instruction. He was kind and knowledgeable, explained our flight path, and the steps in preparing the aircraft. He also clearly explained various components of instrumentation, and best practices for flying. I highly recommend Mallory for anyone that would like to get into aviation, or even just go up for some flight-seeing.

This was the highlight of my Alaskan trip. What an amazing Glacier flight. The pilot was awesome in both his flying skill and information about the country. I just wish the two family menbers in the back had a headset so they could have enjoyed his commentary. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

First flight towards getting my pilots license. I did the bush piolts experience and it was AMAZING! Mallory Smyth was a confident, funny, and extremely knowledgeable instructor. If I lived here I would souly fly with Legeds. Thank you so much again for the wonderful flight.

I received my tail wheel endorsement from Legends in August and found my instructor Mallory excellent. He made safety a priority which is very important to me. Walt is a great guy with years of Alaska aviation experience. I highly recommend Legends Aviation.

Thank you SO much Walt for the amazing experience. We had so much fun! Everyone who visits Alaska should see glaciers from above with Legends Aviation. Thank you for taking the time to search out the moose so we could see them!

We were so impressed with Walt and Legends Aviation. He is a man who truly enjoys his work and even though the tour was 90 minutes, we spent 2 hours on the plane and he took his time showing us the glacier and Mt. Mckinley from all angles till we got all the pictures and the videos. He also showed us additional sites that weren't a part of the program which is a plus. Definitely recommend it
