This cruise was long awaited by me. I don't care to be in a boat on the water, but the catamaran used by Phillips cruises leaves you feeling safe and secure while still getting the brisk breeze, clear air, water wild life and the freedom of moving around without roads. The day was sunny, the first in three weeks according... More

Cloudy skies opened up to the most beautiful sunny day for our amazing glacier boat tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise which took us very close up to several glaciers. Remember to take along a warm jacket as, even in August, the Alaska air can be chilly.

The Glacier cruise is a really good trip and a must when visiting Alaska. This cruise will show you the fjords, a lot of animals and then of course The glaciers. You can be sure that you will see ice separating for the glaciers as well as traveling thru tons of ice with the boat. The drive to Whittier is... More

We were told that we were fortunate to have a dry day during this past August. The claims on the website were pretty accurate on what to expect, but nature truly cooperated for our cruise experience. The forest service ranger talk on board was superb. The lunch included in the cost was great, and the crew was attentive, pleasant and... More

Visited Whittier during our Alaska trip this summer in July. On our drive from Seward to Anchorage we visited this little town which we got a kick out of since you have to drive through a 3 mile one lane tunnel to get to the tiny town. Anyway the tour itself was everything we expected and more. The captain and... More

We did the glacier quest cruise rather than the 26 glacier cruise because it was a bit shorter. Everything about it was great. They arranged tickets on the Alaskan Railroad for the trip from Anchorage to Whittier and back and the seating on the boat. All of the staff on the boat for friendly and professional. They could not have... More

We loved the trip to see the glaciers. The only feedback is that it could have been a bit shorter. The boat was comfortable and clean

It was a very cold and rainy day for this trip, but armed with coat and raincoat, I stayed out on the desk much of the time. The captain told us he was taking on an alternate route to try and improve our experience on such a murky day. The glaciers were outstanding and we got very close to several... More

The best cruise of my lifetime! Despite it being a "low-wildlife day" we were able to see Harbor Seals, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Humpback Whales, Dall's Porpoises, Stellar's Sea Lions and Sea Otters. We were also able to see a glacier calving and the beautiful landscape of Alaska!
