It was a very cold and rainy day for this trip, but armed with coat and raincoat, I stayed out on the desk much of the time. The captain told us he was taking on an alternate route to try and improve our experience on such a murky day. The glaciers were outstanding and we got very close to several... More

The best cruise of my lifetime! Despite it being a "low-wildlife day" we were able to see Harbor Seals, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Humpback Whales, Dall's Porpoises, Stellar's Sea Lions and Sea Otters. We were also able to see a glacier calving and the beautiful landscape of Alaska!

Dear Kevan, Thank you for posting a review on TripAdvisor.com about our glacier cruises. It sure sounds like you had a great wildlife day on the cruise and you saw a glacier calving - that is fantastic. We appreciate your review and hope to see you again on a future cruise. Safe travels! More

A wonderful cruise to see many amazing sights!! The ship gets up close to several glaciers which are just amazing. We were fortunate to have a humpback surface right outside our window where we sat at our table. The drive to Whittier is fun as well. Great views along the way and driving through the tunnel was a very fun... More

Because my stay in Anchorage was for only four days, I chose to take the 5 hour glacier cruise out of Whittier for some sight-seeing. No need to make the drive from Anchorage -- a shuttle runs from Anchorage to Whittier and back, or you can take a train. I took the shuttle, and the driver was an entertaining tour... More

Whales, bears, otters, seals, eagles, glaciers, beautiful scenery all in one trip. What more could you want? This is a great tour offered when doing back-to-back Alaska cruises with time in Whittier between cruises. We havew done this cruise twice and would certainly do it again.

Cold and misty with light rain, but undeterred, we had a great cruise. Saw several bald eagles and a few groups of sea otters. The boat was two levels, with great viewing from the windows and from the outside decks. The commentary was spot on and well done. The staff was well trained and had everything running smoothly. It seems... More

This cruise, despite a very rainy day, was top notch and great beginning to end. The staff was so attentive and informative. The boat was accessible and fun. BEAUTIFUL glaciers and mountains and sea. Wildlife too, if cooperative of course. I would recommend this cruise to anyone. You will not be disappointed. First class operation.

We had a wonderful time even though it rained most of the trip. The service was excellent. Even though it was cold and wet we went outside often. Our pictures are fantastic and true to their word no one suffered from "sea sickness".

I booked this cruise through the internet as recommeded by Jeff Schultz of Alaskaphototreks before my photography tour/workshop with him. We met at the pick up point in CaptainCook Hotel in Anchorage. The bus tooks us pass Turnagain Aim, a truly scenic drive. The price included lunch and unlimited coffee/tea. When we arrived there, we were ushered to our place... More

This is our second time on this particular cruise. No two trips are ever the same and there is always something wonderful to see. We had a beautiful day. The glaciers were amazing. We saw some orcas, otters, sea lions, eagles and dall sheep. The Sea Lions had moved from where they usually are and the Captain went out of... More
