This is the building in Whittier where just about all of the people in Whittier live. A very interesting place to visit. Store, Post Office and everything is in the building.

We used the laundromat in the building and someone put chewing gum in our dryer. The hallways have peeling tile and dirty walls - very creepy experience.

I don’t formally live at the BTI but can say as a visitor the building policies are inconsistent, cleanliness seems to not be a priority.

Pretty cool to think that most of the folks that live in Whittier call this their home. The building seems to be in decent condition and provides a safe place for them to live.

I stayed at the condo suites on the 14th floor for a couple of days. while it was clean, it was dated. everyone was friendly and easy to walk everywhere from there. Beautiful view of the harbour.

We stayed here 2 nights. We stayed on the 14th floor facing the water. The view was amazing! You can see the whole town from here. The condo is dirty, old and smelly. Half of the room is modernized but the kitchen, bathroom and furnishings...More

First off, June, the manager, was awesome. This was a very interesting place to stay. The first 12 stories of this building are home to about 80% of the town of Whittier with the top two stories rented out to tourists. Each condo is fully...More

I'm not sure why I'm reviewing a condo complex - however it is extremely interesting and historical. Non-residents can enter the 1s floor where the city offices are and the top two floors where there is a bed and breakfast. About 225 people live here,...More
