This is a great outing. We arrived on a drizzly day (we could have been back in Scotland, it was that type of day) and the two volunteers running the steamers were still very enthusiastic. Their enthusiasm and passion for the model railway added to the day. This is run as a hobby by volunteers who build the locomotives and... More

We love Live Steamer clubs. The club obviously loves their hobby and all the little fun things set up to look at along the way were awesome. A great 30 minute ride through the forest. They are improving this all the time. A wonderful outing for all ages!!

My toddler loved it! Anyone, any age can ride for a small donation. It seems to be a great idea for the little ones and even small children. Highly recommended!

A great time riding on the mini train through the woods. The kids love riding and looking at all the fun, creative characters and buildings the volunteers have created.

We love to ride the trains at least a couple times a year. The enthusiastic volunteers there are continually making improvements and are great with the kids.

Run by volunteer train hobbyists, these miniature trains are great fun for younger kids. For Grandpa (me), it was fun to watch the faces of my grandkids, especially as they discovered the surprises along the ride.

A must do for families!! My kids age 9 & 6 absolutely love this place. Can't wait until they add more routes. All volunteers run the trains and ask for a $5 donation. It's well worth it.

Our toddler has a great love of trains and thought this was the best place ever. Getting to ride a model train set was such a treat. The people were friendly and very hospitable.

While in Alaska, and taking a stop in Wasilla, it's only right to take a look at the one place that delivers Alaska's heritage on a miniature scale, the Alaska Live Steamers. Me and my grandparents were in that area, and we stopped at the place. It turned out that the people there recently moved to a new location, which... More
