The positive thing... the good house reef if you‘ve your own equipment The rental equipment was in a very bad condition. Two of our group had to rent their equipment partially there. One person had to change the regulator 3 times within the 10 days we‘ve been there! The other

Dear Nuernberg123, thank you for your review. It's really complicated for us to give you an answer, not knowing the time of your visit or your name. We are always open discussing any problem, but it's definitely very difficult doing it on a platform where we can just type a reply, rather then doing it on place, having all the details of the circumstances and most of all giving the people judged as "non-professional" a chance of answering. We would have much appreciated speaking with you and your group in person, but no one asked to speak with the management. Anyhow, TGI Marsa has professional dive guides with at least 10 years experience in the diving industry. Professional dive guides and instructor that are always appreciated for their reliability and attention about safety matters. Our gear is new Mares or Aqualung equipment, max 2 years old. In the specific case of the BCDs, the elder is one year old and the last stock arrived in November 2018. Obviously there can be a matter with an octopus for rent, despite the fact that all regs are re-checked each weekend by our equipment specialist, but when a guest detects a problem, the gear is changed with another one straight away and for NO reason we suggest to use diving equipment not in the proper way. If anyone of the staff would say something like that, we would have appreciated a direct report to take strict action immediately. About the dives, also we are not able to give a specific answer, not knowing your details. The check-dives are planed every day twice a day and are mandatory for every diver. We make exceptions for professional divers in teaching status (Dive Masters/OWSIs), that we allow in the house-reef without guide, if required, or divers with hundreds dives (coming to dive with our base since years) that specifically ask to go unguided; anyway no one is ever left unguided before having a deep briefing about the reef and the safety procedures of the center. Please be aware that all our activities follow ISO Standard, WRSTC, RSTC and EUF. Last, but not least, yes our center closes one hour and half during lunch time, but the diving activities are pen and the back staff fixed at the jetty to help and provide supervision. So it's absolutely possible to dive from 08:00 to 17:30. We hope to have you back diving with us, to get a chance making you change your impression. Kindest Regards. Anita Tinè TGI Marsa Alam

The dive center is so well kitted out, you can hire everything you need. It is really well thought out, you get given a box with a number and the number matches a hanger in the drying room. It had been a while since me and my partner had dived but they were really good with us,
