It is another hidden gem. This spot is so picturesque where there is Mangrove forest along the shoreline, in the sea, and a big one is like an island in the middle of the sea that allows pretty pictures. There is only one problem with the long queues for shower rooms and toilets.

Qulaan Mangrove lies within Wadi El Gemal Natural Reserve. It is a Unique place with big lagoon surrounded by Mangroves with the old / huge Mangrove tree near sea as place highlight.

Go in morning or early afternoon to avoid crowds from bus tours that come from all hotels. They usually visit Hankorab / Sharm Al Luli first then Qulaan, so if you go at morning you'll avoid those bus tours. You'll have the place all for yourself.

You can enjoy a coffee or any drink at Al Ababda Tribe small camp / cafe, if you choose to stay in this small cafe / camp you'll pay 10 EGP beside drinks price.

This place is quite interesting but the best is the coffee and tea preapred by people there. They are prepared in the traditional way - delicious!
