We booked a two day deluxe tour of Luxor and had Mansor as our guide.
The two day tour was fantastic because we had plenty of time to see sights as well as relax and enjoy ourselves without rushing.
On day 1 we saw Karnak and Luxor temple as well as eat in a restaurant by the Nile, then explore the Nile and Banana island by little boat.
Mansor was happy to organise whatever we asked for and gave great advice as well as helping us with prices/traders.
We had a great hotel right on the Nile with beautiful views for the one night stay.
The second day we added a hot air balloon tour, which was beautiful and gave us fantastic views at dawn, and then visited the Valley of the kings and Hatshepsut’s temple as part of the tour.
Mansor was knowledgeable and explained lots of the engravings, the gods, the kings and queens, the history, how the sites were discovered and was so kind to us all. We weren’t the easiest group, as I was travelling with five students/ teens. Mansor was an excellent guide and because of him, we had a great trip to Luxor.
He also showed us a papyrus shop and an alabaster shop, which had beautiful items for sale and there was no pushing sales on us. (Frankly I would love to have chosen lots of souvenirs but my budget wouldn’t stretch !)
This tour made as all want to learn more about Egypt, Egyptology and archaeology! Thank you Mansor.

This was a 4 day private tour for 3 people to Siwa Excellent communication by Wael who made arrangements for the trip really easy. Our driver Ahmed was very reliable always meeting agreed times.
The Dabaa road from Cairo to the north coast is excellent unfortunately there is a lot of road works on north coast road which extended the journey time. It took 10 hours from downtown Cairo to Siwa including rest stops.
The Oasis hotel we stayed at was clean and comfortable though the donkey roaring outside my window in early morning made for an untimely alarm clock.
Desert Safari trip was great fun though the wait for 2 hours to prepare desert passes seemed excessive maybe make sure that the safari driver has the permits ready before picking you up to avoid the long wait.
We stayed a night at Al Nahaya camp which is in the middle of the desert, only accessible by 4x4 wd. The food at the camp was good the tents and bed clean but in need of some maintenance as the zips were torn in parts. The hot water shower is very poor with no washing soap or shampoo provided . So bring your own.
Iwould recommend the experience on a night in the calm of the desert around a camp fire away from noisy city, maybe check other placesas well. The sunset and sunrise over the desert were magical.
In Siwa Meals were at Abdo's restaurant with a great host and plenty to choose from the menu.
A swim in salt lake was fun and later in Cleopatra's pond was ok. The pond constantly refilled by underground water source, so it is cleaner than it looks.
People in Siwa are very pleasent , easy straightforward to deal with. So prices in shops are clear and no need for haggling which is a relief for me.
I found the visit to Siwa is well worth the long journey and Marsa Alarm tours made it easier.

They exceeded my expectations, my guide is called Hany and I want to tell you that when I made my first stop in Egypt I felt scared because I didn't know anything and I was traveling alone. However, my guide Hany helped me in all the activities I did. I fell asleep and he waited 4 hours for me to do my itinerary. The places that they recommend are the best and they take you to eat at places with the best local gastronomy. They take very good photos of you, they are very friendly and attentive to any need. First hand I want to recommend that if you come to Egypt it is better to hire a tourism agency, it is safer and you will make the most of your time. I recommend that you do your tour here in Marsa alam tour with the guide Hany because he takes care of you throughout the journey, they buy you the things you consume so they don't charge you more as a tourist, he is super nice and friendly and you relax too much, he is super attentive that you enjoy a lot and also takes photos and videos so you do not forget your experience. We booked three days, and two nights of Egypt Highlights with Marsa Alam Tours Hurghada Egypt. After three days they won our hearts. Ahmed Khalil, the manager was reachable by phone, text, and email. He helped us, whenever we needed help regardless if it was day or midnight. His team, assigned to us were Driver Noor, Waheed, and Ahmed. The regional guides were Mr. Mansoor, Mehmood, and Adam. They were very knowledgeable about Egyptology and went the extra mile to fulfill our expectations. They made sure that our trip with them was memorable for the rest of our lives. The accommodations provided were in a 4-star upscale hotel in Aswan. The drivers drove us through old and new Egypt to showed us the modern and old style living of Egyptians.Their driving skills were safe and professional.

Great experience with Marsa Alam Tours. We booked a 2 day trip to Cairo. They provided several flight options, pick up at the airport and hotel went smooth with luxury cars/buses and frequently reached out how things were going during the trip. We had a Dutch spoken tour guide and one of the staff members at Marsa Alam Tours spoke Dutch as well. As we stayed longer at the pyramids we were able to change the itinerary a bit and instead of an extensive lunch they bought a quick lunch at a great bakery so we had enough time to spend in the Egyptian museum. So overal fantastic experience and this company is highly recommended.

There's not enough space to describe how amazing this experience was! From the second I was picked up to the second I was dropped off. Even though the driver didn't speak English, he still tried to communicate and made sure we were okay. Our tour guide, Ahmed, ahhh, couldn't have had a better guide. His love and passion for the desert exude through everything he does. Ahmed was lively, full of knowledge, patient, fun, and truly wonderful. We met friends of his throughout our journey, giving us a deeper understanding of their lives and culture. Everyone was welcoming. The food cooked for us was superb!!! Couldn't find anything like it at any restaurant or place I tried after the desert. Sitting by the fire, listening to their music and watching them play with such love made me feel at peace. Ahmed drives you around and shows you all the places you need to see with plenty of time. No rush! I wish I had more days there, the moon, stars, sunrise, sunsets, and desert are incomparable. This was my first time camping ever and what an experience!!!
I was traveling on my own and their team was able to accommodate me with another group, which was fantastic and we all got along great! Everyone was just beyond wonderful!!
This is absolutely something you need to add to your itinerary. You will not regret doing it, even though it's a long ride from Cairo, 100% worth it!
Bring sunscreen, something cozy to wear at night, and a pillow, if you need one to sleep!

We were due to do a number of trips with Marsa Alam tours which we were so excited to be doing. Unfortunately our actual holiday had been cancelled due to Covid so had to cancel the trips with Marsa Alam tours. They were brilliant on arranging the refund with the free cancellation and the refund came through very quickly within a couple of days. Throughout the booking process, any questions etc, they have been amazing and so helpful so highly recommend booking any trips with them. As soon as we can book our holiday again we will be booking the same trips again

This tour was a whirlwind in every sense - long on the voyage but short on sights seeing. However, it was a worth while trip.
Marsa Alam followed up with the all booking details and answered all our questions timely.
All the transportations were taken care of. We worried about the possibility of late flight (to miss the time in Cairo) or late return to the ship but we were glad to take the risk. We got to see Egypt major sights in 2 short days.
In Luxor, we actually saw both the valleys of the kings and the Karnak temple on the West Bank in one afternoon. Plus the sphinxes. Normally they would take 2 afternoons. That’s why it was so rushing. The tour and the driver went extra mile so that we could see the Karnak temple before dark. The lunch was excellent. I think we had the best saffron rice.
In Cairo, we only had a total of 2.5 hours to the Giza and the museum because we had a long drive, 7 hours, back to the ship. The cruise offered an excursion to Cairo too but it was sold out very quickly. One gentleman on the ship could not book the tour with the cruise but he did not want to take the risk with a private tour. We were glad we did. Limited sight seeing was still much better than none.
I have one recommendation at Giza: let us take pictures from afar for the whole pyramid first before we get closer.
The hotel was very nice for a 3 star category. The staff took care of our request for hotel change the last minute.

On 24th Feb I travelled with my daughter, my friend and her two kids to Luxor from Marsa Alam with Marsa Alam Tours. I contacted them before arriving to Egypt and since them everything was flawless and smooth. They answered all my questions, send a photo of car which would be used for the trip and during the trip everything was as they promissed. It was a private tour only for 5 of us and so everything was planned according to our wishes. The best part of the tour was our guide Hamy, who awaited us at Luxor. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us get maximum from just one day we had for the tour. Told us great stories about Egyptian history, took us to a place where we could watch how papyrus was made, arrange for us wonderful Nile private cruise on little boat - it was fantastic👍. And asked about our preference of lunch and based on our expectations took us to absolutely great restaurant - authentic, family run small place on a rooftop in the middle of small garden, with great view of valley of kings. Thanks, Hamy, for wonderful tour🤩👍👍👍.

My favorite part of the tour was the excellent guide we had in Luxor. She was knowledgeable, well spoken and watchful. She offered us additional opportunities with the alabaster factory and papyrus making as well as providing useful information about the incredible sights.
Your tour delivered on what was promised-a private tour (one car) private driver and guide. You arranged for all the necessary connections (being on time, plane tickets, hotel reservations, attractions tickets and meals).
There were so many details that you took care of that made our visit so pleasant.
