Love shopping for Pearls at Baldini

I first was told about Baldini's in 2015 by a gal that worked in the Excursion office on board the Statendam. She told me that every time she goes to Bora Bora she goes there to buy beautiful pearls there because it's the BEST place in the islands. I took her advice and she was so right. I had shopped... We were looking for a small and family owned pearl shop that wasn't too busy and Baldini was the perfect choice. The shop was not crowded and the pearl displays were tastefully and beautifully arranged. Sofia was very patient, friendly (even lent me her glasses to view the pearls up close) and considerate of my request to replace a pearl... More

Pretty much all to do on Bora Bora is shop for pearls. Really. Unless you are on the water or enjoying a motu, the only thing on the main island we found was pearl shopping. There are a lot of places to go, but Baldini was a cut above. It's a small storefront, but clean and modern. The selection is... More

Good selection, good quality, and comparably priced pearls. I was given helpful assistance, not at all pushy or annoyed even though it took me forever to decide! Without asking, I was also given very clear instructions for how to deal with the duty free process. I was very happy with the entire process. I love my earrings and necklace.

You can go crazy looking for Tahitian pearls on the many islands of French Polynesia. My wife and I went to at least 20 different stores in Papeete, Moorea, Raiatea and finally Bora Bora. Sylvie was charming, helpful, and provided great advice on many selections. We continued to shop at 5 other stores in Vaitape. We ended up back to... More

No other place stacks up for affordable and quality pearls. Sylvie was beyond helpful in making me feel comfortable and find my perfect gift, so much that I returned the next day to buy more. From simple to very refined - Baldini should be your only stop in Vaitape for pearls.

Not pushy. Very helpful. Best value in town. We are not "investors" but we're only looking for a nice necklace for my mom. We stopped at a few others places before landing here. Her English was perfect. A+
