Bora Bora's beauty is breathtaking, and Vavau 4*4 Adventures is the very best way to take it all in. Our off-road vehicles are comfortable and safe, and will transport you to Bora Bora's most secluded spots. Experienced multi-lingual guides share stories of our island's history from ancient legends of Polynesian gods and chiefs to the lure of Hollywood filmmakers and seafaring adventure seekers. Historic World War II canons remind of us the social and economic impacts, and international influences on our island home. Stroll along Matira's sunny shore, voted as one of the world's top ten beaches by Tripadvisor. Enjoy the cool breezes at Bora Bora's highest vantage points and marvel at the world renown lagoon bordered by the Motus - offshore isles afloat in a turquoise paradise. There's no better way to come to know Bora Bora than by spending time with our family at Vavau 4*4 Adventures. Come enjoy the beauty of our island home. Ia Orana!

Tour of Bora Bora

An enjoyable method of seeing some of the sites of Bora Bora that would not be easy to do otherwise. The driver was very knowledgeable on the history.

This 4x4 land tour of Bora Bora felt like we were driving through Jurassic Park (without the dinosaurs of course). It was so much fun! You go through some tough, eleveated, muddy terrain and get to see the most gorgeous views of the island. Our local tour guide was hilarious, helpful, and super informal about the island - we learned... More

The trip started out with Alex picking us and one other couple up from the hotel. We then went into Vaitape to pick up two more couples. We had an opportunity to shop at the local market where I picked up a gorgeous black pearl necklace. Then we were off for our tour of the island. Alex was very knowledgeable... More

Hi, We stayed in the Four Seasons Bora Bora early June 2016 for our Honeymoon. We took one of these 4wd tours. They are fantastic. On the tour the driver stopped at a local art house where I bought my wife a pereo. Unfortunately she lost it while we were away at Christmas. She is devastated.I am trying to identify... More

We stayed at the Le Moana IC resort. We bought the combo tour which included the water and land tour. Our water tour consisted of snorkeling with sharks, stingrays, different kinds of fishes, manta rays, and also at the coral gardens. Gave us a history lesson while on tour along with lunch in the water (lunch benches in the water... More

The jeep tour was exploring Bora Bora, including climbing dirt roads to a beautiful eye view of the island, and stops along the way. including Bloody's Marys famous restaurant. The trip was 3 hours of fun, Django was the best , he was our driver and if you go to Bora Bora, dont miss this tour, but ask for Django.

We did the sea and land combo. Though we've been on a snoreling trip with another company, this trip offerede new places to experience, which was good. The lunch was on a motu and it was beautiful. In the afternoon, we set off with Alex for the land tour. We went uphill to the lookouts, around in the village and... More

Django was great. He was friendly and ensured we would learn as much as possible on our tour about the island and the culture. We met locals and learned about the history of Bora Bora along with taking amazing photos along the way!

So a 4x4 adventure to me means of the main road, you know dirty roads and such. We this trips gives you 3 brief trips off the main road onto short uphill climbs for some great views but nothing more that you couldn't walk up yourself. The other 95% of the trip is driving around the island on the main... More

Did this trip from a cruise ship. Didn't get much info from the ship about the vehicle beyond 4x4 and 'need to be fit'. The trip was great - basically around Bora Bora with offshoots uphill to great viewpoints and stops at a local pearl farm/factory and cotton fabric dyeing (fascinating). Our guide was delightful and we got lots of... More
