Booked this excursion at last minute. Being an experienced rider was wondering if it would be boring. NO IT WASN'T. Had a beautiful horse called chip. Never ridden western style before, took a bit of getting used to, no mouth contact with horse. Had super guide and went through lovely forest and spectacular view of Mt McKinley on a lovely... More

After I booked this excursion wasn't sure how much fun it would be. One of the best excursions I have been on. They took us to a great scenic view of Mt. McKinley. It was amazing - the guides were very friendly & took as many pictures with our cameras as we wanted. Got to kiss a reindeer, had smores,... More

We had a variety of ages and abilities in our group and all enjoyed this ride. It was pouring which didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits. They got us rain gear and helmets and gave lots of information about the area. Easy ride, nice to get out into the woods for a while.

Wonderful ride through some very beautiful trails. We had three guides (front, middle and back) with riders as young as 9 and as old as 65+ with everyone having no issues. The scenery was amazing as well as the entertainment from Cowboy Matt (Matthew for short!). A must do while in Talkeetna....you won't regret it!

Great ride with super friendly people. They had 2 guides, one in front and one in the back, the whole time. They narrated about the vegetation and gave us chances to stop and take pictures. They even took photos with our camera of the whole family. They were chatty and knowledgeable. My young daughter loved it. Its a great way... More

I echo the positive comments made by Amy and Gabrielle, and found the ride to be easy, beautiful, and peaceful during a rather hectic 2-week vacation to Alaska. The guides gave us a very good introduction to riding and away we went, up a gorgeous hill loaded with springtime flowers, green foliage and tall trees dripping with cool mist. My... More

Rode with this family owned outfit into the woods. Great guides, very friendly and knowledgable. They really enjoyed their "jobs". We did not see Mt. McKinley as it was clouded over however we did have a wonderful time atop our trusty steads. They take your photograph near the end and then charge you for it, which was $10 per photo... More

We booked this trail ride through the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness lodge. They picked my husband and I up, along with 4 other guests at the hotel and it was a short drive to the stables. We were given some long jackets to wear to since there was a light drizzle and to protect our clothes. They also had helmets... More

We traveled by covered wagon to the top of a hill. We got to feed the caribou, roast marshmallows, pan for gold, and visit by the campfire with owner, Steve and teamster, Justin. By the end of the day, we were very happy that we had the chance to experience this trip and felt we had truly made friends.

This is one of those tours where you can't get your money back if you cancel at the last minute so we went in the rain. It was still a nice ride and they outfit you to stay dry, but in the fog and rain there is no chance of seeing Mt. McKinley, and there were not a lot of... More
