Talkeetna was our first stop after landing in Alaska. Dennis welcomes you into his family home with the help of some friendly guides who also tell you about the history of the town and Dennis's own family. My 12 year old daughter was excited about riding her own ATV and loved panning for gold. My 15 the old son like... More

Great day! Dennis and Dan are awesome hosts! In addition to a great ATV ride, we learned a lot about the town, homesteading and gold panning. A must do!

This ATV tour is a "must do" on a visit to Talkeetna. The opportunity to ride ATVs outside of a town in Alaska and visit the original homestead and the Cabin that Dennis calls home was a wonderful and special experience. Lunch was provided. The information and stories that Dennis has to share really need to be recorded in a... More

The full day tour seems like a long time, but it goes by so quickly! All of my kids (14-15) loved driving their own ATV and Danny did a great job telling the stories and showing us the homestead. The kids loved panning for gold and actually getting some! Shooting a rifle became an intense competition in our family and... More

At the end of our two week trip to Alaska we asked our 12 and 15 year old sons for their highlights - Dennis's tour in Talkeetna and dog sledding in Girdwood . Now, frankly when you go on a tour involving a helicopter, sled dog puppies, and an actual dog sled ride on a glacier in perfect weather, it... More

Dennis DeVore's ATV Wilderness Adventure truly delivered! While riding our ATVs was an adventure in itself, our experiences were greatly enriched by our wonderful hosts, Dennis and Patricia. They told us interesting anecdotes as we traveled to various locations. We rode through historic Talkeetna, the Village Airstrip, to the DeVore family's early homestead, and then on to his current homestead.... More

Nice ATV ride to the owner's beautiful cabin in the woods. Dennis shared interesting stories of local legends and his own family history. He made you feel welcome as if you were old friends. Target shooting and gold panning kept the interest of everyone as we enjoyed his hospitality. Highly recommend and I left feeling I had made a friend... More

This is a fun day if you are in the Talkeetna area. The owner, Dennis is a real character and personifies my idea of an Alaskan. We took an ATV ride out to his family's original homestead and then on to Dennis's home. It is a beautiful setting on a river. There are opportunities for gold panning and target shooting.... More

This was an excellent way to get oriented to an ATV for those of us who'd never driven one. We had good, basic instruction before setting out for our drive through town where we stopped to hear about interesting local lore. Then on to the original homestead of the owner's family - true pioneers in AK. We had an enjoyable... More
