Dennis Davore runs a great business and, is a man that treats his guests like family or close friends. While in Talkeetna, my wife and I went on an ATV tour. Dennis was our guide and gracious host. The tour started with a familiarization of the machines, having never ridden ATV's, we found this helpful. Safety gear and warm clothing... More

This was a great experience. Danny was fantastic and couldn't have been more fun. We learned a lot while being enjoyable. It was slightly scary driving an ATV that was 44 inches wide over a 45 inch wide bridge-- and I have no fear of heights. The only reason I am giving a 4 vs a 5 was because of... More

My husband and I went on this tour with Patricia and she was just wonderful. She was so genuine and authentic, a true gem! She was very knowledgeable and took great care to the safety of our group. She got everyone appropriate rain gear (yes, it was raining, no matter, go anyway - you won't be sorry! We stayed very... More

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with Danny of Talkeetna ATV Tours. Dennis's service was recommended by an independent tour guide we had engaged and he did not disappoint. While we had taken ATV tours in Mexico we were a little concerned about the ruggedness of this part of Alaska and operating the vehicles... More

My 14 year old daughter and I loved this! Thank you Dennis for sharing your incredible life story, teaching us how to target practice, how to ride an ATV, the delicious lunch you offered us, and teaching us how to pan for gold. Your kindness and open heartedness will always be remembered fondly. Stu and Chambit

Talkeetna was our first stop after landing in Alaska. Dennis welcomes you into his family home with the help of some friendly guides who also tell you about the history of the town and Dennis's own family. My 12 year old daughter was excited about riding her own ATV and loved panning for gold. My 15 the old son like... More

Great day! Dennis and Dan are awesome hosts! In addition to a great ATV ride, we learned a lot about the town, homesteading and gold panning. A must do!

This ATV tour is a "must do" on a visit to Talkeetna. The opportunity to ride ATVs outside of a town in Alaska and visit the original homestead and the Cabin that Dennis calls home was a wonderful and special experience. Lunch was provided. The information and stories that Dennis has to share really need to be recorded in a... More

The full day tour seems like a long time, but it goes by so quickly! All of my kids (14-15) loved driving their own ATV and Danny did a great job telling the stories and showing us the homestead. The kids loved panning for gold and actually getting some! Shooting a rifle became an intense competition in our family and... More
