This waterfall is about a 20-minute drive from Kolonia. The last part of the road is unpaved and has some fairly steep hills gullies from rain wash-outs. When I went, the road was dry and I had no problems, but I wouldn't try this after...More

We went in the middle of several days of intense rain (even for Pohnpei, I guess). The walk is easy and we really appreciated the concrete steps and guide rope. We were hoping to take a dip -- however, the waterfall was easily twice, maybe...More

This is another of their spectacular falls on the island, guess the fact of the excessive rain makes such beautiful falls - worth the walk to see.

This is hard to say because the island must have close to a hundred waterfall but I have been to about 15 absolutely gorgeous ones, and for me these two levelled waterfalls are in the most beautiful setting. It is also extremely dangerous so be...More

This waterfall is located near the old water hydro plant not far from Kalonia. It's a bumpy drive up the hill so we decided to walk up from the plant. It's about a 20 min walk up but if walking make sure you know how...More

It's a downward hike to get here, but well worth it. A beautiful site to see and swim in. A must see while in Pohnpei.
