In January this year, I was lucky enough to participate in the Shark diving program at the Dubai Aquarium.
From the welcome to the comprehensive and fascinating briefing on the nature of the dive and shark behavior to the perfectly adapted equipment in excellent condition, the whole experience was fabulous.

In 2018 I began diving with Al Boom and 3 years later I can honestly say, I’ve only ever had positive experiences with them. I’m thoroughly impressed by the level of knowledge, professionalism, energy and enthusiasm offered by the centre and its instructors. The equipment is in great condition which is very reassuring and they really know how to look after their divers.
Recently I completed the Rescue and Wreck speciality course under the supervision of an outstanding instructor, Omar Habib, who made the training both educational and fun. Omar was encouraging and supportive; a real pleasure to work with, and I would recommend him to divers of any level as he adapts to what you need in order to feel comfortable during your dive. He is a highly qualified diver with several years of experience, who knows how to create a fun, relaxed environment without compromising on safety.
Diving with this centre over the last 3 years has been an enriching experience. I have learned so much under the guidance and supervision of this dynamic team, who have encouraged and supported me in pursuit of my diving goals. It is my intention to continue working with them on my journey to becoming a Dive Master.👌

Diving is located on the hotel premises with a large parking lot, they met us, helped us choose equipment, and provided us with lunch, which we ordered in advance. From the diving center you need to go about 5 minutes by bus, then another 40 minutes by boat, but I think this depends on the dive site. It was great! Beautiful reefs, lots of fish and turtles 😍

I had placed an order online with them and even when I encountered an issue, customer service was great with fast and professional response, Thank you Wimu from customer service team. Today Thursday 31 March 2022 sharing my feedback for Mr.Dahi max working in Al boom diving team located in Le Meridian Al Aqqa beach resort-Dibba.
I had excellent experience with Mr.Dahi
that he helped me a lot during my visit in the hotel when I decided to book for my son (The advanced scuba diving course), he advised me with many tips that helped my son (Adam Hussein 13 years old) to dive safe and having good quality diving time in the same time.
Mr.Dahi was amazing in his respectful attitude and how he gain the customers and treat them Politely with professional process by following all the formal & system documentations to finish everything as per the global and local policies…what a amazing stuff you have !
Mr.Dahi helped me and my son a lot in his advanced scuba diving course and he knows his job & how to deal with customers and how to handle their problems if situations are complicated , he just calm you down and try to solve any problem.

Great refresher to shock yourself with some sharks dive so that the vacation is not in any case boring ;) As a diving beginner with no such experience before, got a bit frozen while seeing the sharks literally next to me. Awesome afternoon past-time! Had a brilliant guide who took care full time of my safety, briefed me very well and showed me the incredibly huge & beautifully designed aquarium from the best perspective! Thanks so much for the full time and also the videos/pics shared. Wanna repeat this!

The team is professional with great hospitality, they treated us so well from the moment we walked in till the time we got our certificate.
All the team from the manager Mr Ahmed and Youssef the trainer and everyone else because I don't want to forget anyone they were very helpful and flexible with our timing.

Tried the snorkeling and the donut ride and kids have very much enjoyed it.
Despite their busy schedule, Mr. Dahy has managed to find us slot for both activities so big shout for him.
Value to money is great where you can use entertainer vouchers as well on some of the activities.

It was a great experience and I decided to go through the PADI at same occasion with them because you have a discount.
But you will not have the certification for 18m only 12m with scuba so it’s half finished but for the price of a full certification the return of investment is not good if I knew I will not pass it here.

Thank you for choosing Al Boom Diving to complete your PADI Scuba Diver Course. We're sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with your course.
Scuba Diver is a subset of the Open Water Couse. Aside from being limited to 12 meters, those who complete this course will need to be guided by a PADI Professional when they dive. Scuba Diver is a great option for those on a budget, short on time or who may feel comfortable at shallow depths only and prefer to always be accompanied by an instructor.
The PADI Open Water Course is a more popular choice. Above the lessons covered in Scuba Diver it includes two more theory sessions and two more Ocean (Open Water) dives. We have options for completing these dives off the beach in Dubai or by boat to explore the coral reefs of Fujairah. The Dubai option is more affordable however we recommend the Fujairah option as it's a more enjoyable experience. We are currently offering 30% discount off the PADI Open Water Course with final dives in Fujairah.
If you decide to advance your certification to Open Water please contact our call center and we'll do our best to provide a suitable option for you.

The first day of diving we were to meet at 0845 for a 0945 departure. The boat actually left the dock just before 1100. It is then required to boat over to the coast guard station for an ID check. The first dive site could not be identified by the crew, so we went to an alternative site. By the time we descended for the first dive it was approaching 1200. The second five site was a long boat ride and then another visit to the coast guard station.
We arrived back at the Al Boom dive center after 1500. This was after confirming with Youseff the day before that I needed to be on time for the return and that we didn’t want to dive if we were going to be delayed.
A lot of time was wasted briefing very basic information in a classroom that could have been summarized quickly and also done on the boat.
The back and forth to the coast guard station is apparently mandatory for diving along the UAE coast but the lengthy time that it adds to a dive trip discourages me from ever diving here again.
Day 2 of the course with Jeumal was excellent. We left on time, briefings were short concise and informative. Jeumal is an excellent instructor and my son and I really enjoyed our 2 dives with him. I would be very happy to dive with Jeumal again. He helped my sim with a difficult wreck penetration dive and we both completed the course with satisfaction.

Please accept our apologies for the delays on the day of your first dive. While we do our best to stick to our schedule occasionally we can miss our mark as you have unfortunately experienced. Ideally we prefer to load and board the boats directly from the beach in front of the Resort but on days of rougher weather we load from the nearest harbor to the dive center which adds logistical delays.
Congratulations to you and Spencer on becoming PADI wreck divers and thank you for completing your course with us. It's my pleasure to share your compliments with Jemuel and the team.

Hi From Al Boom diving, sorry for the late reply we offer for accompanying family and friends a snorkeling/boat trip which can be booked at the same time as Discover Scuba diving this means you can join the boat while your son/daughter participate in their Discover scuba sea dive. Go Pro Camera can also be rented on arrival at the dive center the instructor will then take footage during the Dive. Hi Nikki, Sorry for the Late Response if you would like just a diving Experience in the sea we call this Discover Scuba Diving this can be done in just one Day in Fujairah where you participate in Basic diving skills training in the Swimming Pool , a quick classroom session and then join our purpose Built Dive Boat. This then takes you out to one of our many lovely Dive sites allowing you to actually dive in the Sea and experience the UAE wonderful Marine Life. If you would like to do a Full PADI course and receive a life long PADI diving Licence then for Beginners we Offer PADI Open Water Course which takes up to 4 x Days to complete If you would like further information please send me your email address and I will send you further details.

hi I have never been snorkeling or scuba diving but I am travelling to Dubai in April and I hope to do some snorkeling or diving in fujairah area would I need any training in advance to take part in those activities

Hi Nikki, if you have not been snorkelling before, you might feel more comfortable if you try using a mask in a swimming pool first so that you get used to having it on your face and can adjust if necessary. With regards to diving, they would definitely insist that you do a 'dive' lesson in the pool to ensure you are confident and competent before taking you out in a boat.
