It is located in Old Datça. Old Datça is definitely a place to see. Do not think of ruins, on the contrary, it is a home of art, you will see small cute drawings even on the path you step on. When you go to Can Yücel's house, you will see a door. That's it. If you think you can travel around, it won't happen because the family still lives inside.

A must see place when you visit Datca. Can Yucel was one of the greatest Turkish poets. You can not visit the house but you can take a picture in front of his house.

The old town of Datca is beautiful all the way,Can Yucel's House is not open to visitors, you can only see the main door to the house and a little bit of the gardens from outside.
But still an attraction to the poet's admirers.

Nobody available although the Russian wife of Can Yücel was around. Situated in Old Datca, with old stone houses and nice boutique shops and restaurants. The Can Yücel House was not open when I tried to visit this place.

This review is intended to praise with the highest honors for our guide, Mr. Yucel
His car was superbly air-conditioned- with comfortable, individual seats for all of us.
He is totally understandable and precise with his work. He had a perfect plan to see the highlights of the city that we had requested, advantageous suggestions that were equally fascinating. Yucel is an ideal tour guide with lots of potential hence tried his best to connect with us all in a delightful, low-key, conveniently with information manner. He is a all-knowing teacher, innovative, professional, dedicated to personal care, tailored to suit all particular chosen tours especially our last minute request for paragliding.
He shared his knowledge in its beautiful moments with patience and kindness whilst giving the tour of Antalya. He gave us an overview of other places of interest too that was a remarkable experience. He modified the itinerary where else we could go to enhance our experience; diligent in his proficiency like Sand City Antalya.
We'd highly recommend Yucel to just about any group at any time in Antalya. Wonderful is the operative word. We would recommend him for his excellent services any time!!
Hope to visit Antalya again soon.

It's not a museum. It's a private property. But, worth to see the local environment that Can Yücel spent his last years.

It would make more sense if you know who Can Yücel is, his poems and what he means for Datça. It was an emotional experience for me and it is one of the most important things that makes Datca special.

Visiting the house where he lived, looking over the views that inspired him writing his poems, it was such a valuable moment of my visit to old city of Datça. Get a book of Can Yucel and breathe the same atmosphere with him.

Only been there for drinks (hot and cold, on various occasions), but unsure what the hype is all about.... apart from the famous link of course. As a place to obtain sustenance, it didn't blow me away.
