We had a really excellent trip, very informative and interesting with plenty of stops so we didn't get bored. Cem is very knowledgeable but doesn't overwhelm you with information. He's happy to answer questions. The trip to the aeroplane was great as was the boat ride up the river. Followed by lunch at the gorge, a visit to a historic home with pancakes and tea thrown in. Mugla house was an eye opener and Turkish coffee in the old square was a perfect way to end the trip. There were only 5 of us paying £40 each which was extremely good value for a day lasting from 9am to 6pm. All on time and all refreshments and lunch were included. It was super to get outside Dalyan and get more of a feel for the area. Loved it!!

We have been on trips with Cem before, so we made a bee line to his travel agency as soon as we arrived and booked 2 trips. The spontaneous tour was absolutely amazing. Cem has such knowledge and finds the most wonderful places to take his clients, and we learn so much on our travels. We also went on the 12 islands boat trip. There were only 6 of us on the boat, with a charming Captain and a hard working cook, who not only made the most delicious food but she also assisted in sailing the boat! We did part of the trip under sail, such a lovely relaxing experience. There were several swimming stops to enjoy and plenty places on board to sunbathe or to be in the shade. I thoroughly recommend Aya Nicola Travel Agency!

Wow what can I say we were blown away. Firstly when the trip was described to us and now on the actual day. It sounded perfect, a chance to see real Turkey and real cultures with a guide who cared! On the day boy did he deliver Cem (who we booked with) was our friendly guide, we were picked up by minibus at the office (we are in a villa so difficult to find) at the time stated. First tick! Then we went to a couples house who had moved from the big city for the rural life and now have an organic farm with artwork (he's an artist) best homemade lemonade I've tasted! Next on to a quirky stop where we had another drink and explored a little. Then not 1 but 2 boat trips in Akkaya one up river and one out to sea. By this time we were a bit peckish! On to Mugla with a stop at a trout fishery for some lovely ( if a little cool) food. It had a distance to come from the kitchen and there were 8 of us so I will excuse lol. Finally we got to Mugla and saw some historic sites with brilliant explanations from the lovely Cem who was open for questions at any time, he was so friendly and informative and told us the itinerary was not fixed so there was no need to rush us. To top it off he then said he'd drop us back at the villa so he would know where it was. We said we had some shopping to do (bread water etc) he told us not to worry he would drop us last a d then wait for us at the shop so and didn't have to carry heavy shopping. We've mentioned we fancy longer at mugla and he says he will arrange it and none of it cost the earth. Today's full day with ALL drinks (of which there were many) and food included cost us £35 each with transport also included and 10 hrs of his time! Thank you Cem, you outdid yourself and from the 4 or 5 other travel agencies we have tried you ARE the best! Though I know you hate to say it.

It was our first trip to Dalyan (me and my grown-up daughter). So I didn't know the lay of the land in regards to better or worse trip agencies. So I'm so glad that we chose to book here at Aya Nicola. We Did the max ten people boat trip which was AMAZING and the best boat trip I've been on which everybody on the trip agreed with. It was fantastic value for money and the most relaxed day I've probably ever had. It also included Breakfast at Ley Ley which is such a beautiful place and the fresh Turkish breakfast was so tasty. Also included was a cooked lunch with a salad. Again all fresh and tasty. We went to gorgeous coves to swim, one place had a swing from a tree into the sea. The boat was so comfy, LOADS of room and it was a proper sailboat as well as engine powered so when the winds were right, the sails went up and we glided along with nothing but the sound of nature, the sea and us chatting. It really was perfect. The second trip was by boat to Koycegiz Market. This was such good value and was pretty much an all day trip. My favorite part of the trip by far was the fruit and veg market. It was huge and consisted of small businesses and local families selling their products. We picked up everything from fruit and veg to duck eggs and cheese. Also in the first part of the market, we picked up bags of herbs and spices, which we do whenever we go to Turkey to last us until our next holiday. On the way back we stopped at the mud baths and thermal springs, Sultaniye Kaplıcaları which in itself you could probably spend half a day at. There's a cafe there too so if all you want to do is relax with a coffee overlooking the lake you can. On the way home, we had a swim in the lake which is warmed by thermal vents. Please don't hesitate, you'll be very well looked after if you go with Aya Nicola. It will be our first port of call on our return to Dalyan!

Anthony 4840 has saved me a lot of work by summarising exactly our view of the village/city life outing. We did exactly the same things and enjoyed it all. We would certainly recommend the company for this trip and will be trying their other tours when we go back next time. An example of the care and attention Cem has is that he bought a large profiterole cake, lit a candle, provided forks, and plates for the whole minibus when he heard it was one of his clients` birthday the day of our tour. The birthday boy was really impressed with the surprise. With the little boat trip in Akyaka we did not get back to Dalyan till about 7, making it a very full and enjoyable day.
