Fun part of a moonlight cruise. Great soft skin after and helped get rid of aches and pains in the thermal bath. Try singing in the indoor thermal bath - awesome.

You can smell the thermal from ages away. It smells like sulfur and you do, too, afterwards. Granted, it was only 4 TL, so whatever, but this is really just something you do to say you've done it.

The mud baths are a typical tourist exploitation, and one of those things first time visitors do, and then wonder why! Yes, it can be fun, but after plastering yourself in foul smelling mud, one asks "WHY?" It's something you just feel inclined to do, because of the hype, but you will only do it once.

If you have never experienced the mud bath worth a visit, but once tried dont think I would want to repeat it. Downside the smell from the sulpher tends to linger on your skin and bathing costume, maybe a problem if you only have the one and have no washing facilities.

We took the boat up the lake to get here. The hot springs and mud bath are right on the lake with stunning views... Just 1 turkish lira entry(25 pence) Small cafe open (except out of season) New clean and spotless changing rooms/showers. We used both the hot mud bath, takes two people to cover yourselves in mud as the... More
