This old Palace has been transformed into a Museum in which the history of the Spanish Army is displayed. Really nice museography for children.

This old palace has been transformed into a museum about the Spanish army. It's actually pretty interesting and I have to say the kids liked it. That said it would be the 20th place I'd go to here. But having lived in Spain and visited Avila a dozen times I was looking for something new. Fit the bill.

For all of us who did military service, it was almost like entering into memories. Very well preserved, short but very satisfactory visit. Admission is free (at least when I went)
