Yes, the place is nice. But it is not open 24/7. When you arrive , the church is closed. The key holder does not speak English. There is no audio guide. The key keeper ,like a hawk ,pointed to the shop -like windows that actually contained the personal belongings of Saint

This was the first of St Teresa’s reformed carmelite converts, simple to the point of austerity. There is a small but informative museum attached.

While exploring Avila, I passed by this convent, a simple unassuming building. Unfortunately, it was closed and I didn’t manage to visit its interior.
