Avila has a very interesting Casio Historico with much of it intact from centuries ago. All surrounded by the marvelous walls. Don't miss the cathedral, City Hall and one or two other churches.

My wife and I spent 3 days here in the walled city and found it very clean. There were no grafitti and the streets were very clean. This is one of the cleanest cities in Spain.

This medieval town is a beautiful place to imagine life as it once was here within the walls. Many nice shops and restaurants to visit too.
