Capt. Tyler took us out on the Kasilof for a sockeye trip. Nobody on the river but us. He dropped anchor on shore and we finished our day with our limit in under 2 hours!!! Tyler knows this river and can get you on the fish fast! Great guys to work with! Thank you.

Matti and team are my next door neighbors. They are up at the crack of dawn to head out for their trip for the day. They are always preparing for the next days trip. They are at the Sportsman show each year.

The communication in advance was very good with our guide. On the day of the trip we were very successful catching fish. What was disappointing was the attitude of our guide, the owner. When we didn't successfully bring a fish in, he got angry. When we asked if we got to keep the eggs, he said no, he needed them (later I found out he was supposed to give them to us if we asked). Then when one of the people in our party didn't have cash for a tip, he texted them the next day asking if they had placed a tip in the mail. As a result of these things, I would not recommend this company.

First stop of our Alaskan adventure was fishing for Salmon. Unfortunately, rains and glacier melt really limited fishing options. We had 3 boats for the day and did not land a single fish. Really wish the guys would have told us the fishing was poor and planned some alternative fishing options for the money spent. Guides very very friendly and worked hard, the bite was simply not on!

Sean took us out on the Kenai for trout our first day. That guy worked hard! Eleven solid hours of rowing to get us on the fish, and boy did we get them. Nice big 'bows and some Dolly's to boot. He then took us up the Russian River for sockeye, filling us up. But it wasn't just about the fish - he got us in to see moose, caribou, beaver, ect, talked all about the different birds, and had tons of stories to keep us laughing the whole day long. The next day we hit the Kasilof for kings - the river was blown out and it was raining, but we still had a great time. He again worked his tail off for us, going back again and again to get us on point for fish. He even had a talk with a local seal to see where the fish were hiding. The guy has endless energy and a smile every second. Not much down time between fish - he made sure of that, but he filled it all with great conversation. Can't recommend him enough.
