Jeremy worked really hard to put us on the fish. He never gave up and we hooked and landed several big Rainbow Trout on the Kenai. He runs a professional business with well maintained equipment. He was already on the river when meeting us and we immediately knew we were in good hands. He knows the Kenai very well. Layer up folks, it can be really cold. We fished two days, once in the morning(brrr) and once in the afternoon, both trips were successful in catching fish. Jeremy has good, calm energy and gives clear instructions to give you your best chance at landing a fish. We highly recommend Alaska Drift Away Fishing and will be calling them again next time we're in the area. Thank you, Jeremy. We had a blast!!

Let’s face it, bad guides are everywhere, and nothing is worse than blowing a ton of money and an afternoon spending time w/ a crappy guide. After years of mixed results from hiring guides to explore new water, I’ve finally learned the best way to find a guide is to ask a guide that you trust. That is how I found out about Nick and Jeremy’s team with Alaska Drift Away Fishing. The results were nothing short of amazing! Not only did Nick put me in a position to net a new personal best wild bow within the first 15 minutes he also allowed me to break that record 2 more times over the course of the day. All in all, netted 6 fish over 20 inches with the final being a monster 25-inch wild bow with a 17-inch girth! We drifted close to 2 miles while fighting this fish. Being from the east coast, we are not raised to learn how to fight creatures this big… Thankfully Nick carefully choregraphed the entire fight which ended in successfully netting this monster. Nick and Jeremy have a very methodical approach to each trip. They keep in constant contact via cell phone to discuss water conditions and fishing pressure. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger… Doesn’t get any better than this as I’m already looking at my calendar to schedule a return trip. This was very likely my best guiding experience in my life. The only potential downside from fishing w/ Nick is that I’m likely spoiled for life as chasing 8-inch native east coast Blueridge brookies doesn’t excite me like it used to… Oh well, sign me up for another trip! Thanks again Nick for an amazing day I’ll never forget on the water!

Absolute highlight of our trip! Silvertip cabins are great with all of the amenities that you need. Andrea and Jeremy were super helpful, easy to book with and provided all the information we needed for our stay. Spent two days fishing with Drift Away flyfishing and Nick and Cody are awesomely amazing! Super knowledgeable about the river, very professional and patient. They both worked really hard to get us into the fish and made our days memorable. Highly recommend these guys, the best out there!
