Had an incredible time with Jeremy & Nigel. Not only do they provide an incredible experience, but they are so flexible in allowing to change plans the morning of if better fishing can be had at a different location. And if a specific area of the river or lake isn’t great, they move to another area until things are hot. Their goal is to make sure they do everything possible to help you limit out. One day after we limited out, they took us trout fishing to complete the full day at no extra cost.

We got messed over by EZ at the very last minute and Jeremy and his team saved the trip. I also really appreciate that they aren’t just a booking service, but they will actually be your guides.

We also stayed at their cabins “Silver Tip” which has a great set up with 6 cabins.

We will be using them for lodging and guides from now on. Night and day difference from EZ.

Thanks so much Jeremy and Nigel.

We could not ask for a better trip to Alaska. Alaska Drift Away Fishing took care of every step of the way. With all the chaos of the Covid issue Jeremy and Andrea remained flexible right up to our check in day. Their advise, information and guidance relived a ton of stress. The Guide service is top notch. Our group of 6 ran the entire spectrum from beginner, the casual fisher and the we want to learn everything type. Jeremey and Nigel crushed it. They met everyone of our expectations and then proceeded to exceed them. Their knowledge, passion and teamwork set them a part from other river guides.
We did the flyout fishing with High Adventures. The flight crews were the best. Professional, friendly and safe. Even though it rained the entire time our guides Chet and Hunter made it an experience of a life time. The fishing was fun but watch a young bear come down to the water front and fish was amazing.
Our last trip was a Halibut trip with JJ Smart. We never got a break from bringing in the fish. Capt. Sara took great care of us all day.
Jeremey and Andrea are fantastic hosts, you feel like part of the family the moment you arrive. The accommodations are in excellent shape and spotless. The fish packing was a great bonus. The fire pit is a great opportunity to meet other guest or just sit with you group and enjoy the outdoors.
If you are thinking of visiting Alaska you can not go wrong booking with Alaska Drift Away Fishing.

Want the best? Book with these guys. They wake up at 3:30 AM on their days off to go fishing. Few guides are as all around fishy as Jeremy, Nick and Nigel, and even the most experienced anglers will learn a ton spending a day in their boats. And speaking of the boats, their Willie boats are top-notch and well-outfitted for a day of comfort and effective fishing. Whether you're a beginner looking to feel a rod bend or a lifelong trout hunter, your best bet at the catch of a lifetime is to book a day with Alaska Drift Away!

This is the most professional operation you can hope to deal with. They were helpful, honest, and straight forward in our dealings with them from the beginning. From the initial time of booking in October until we arrived in August, they answered everything we needed. They were understanding about the challenges of getting to Alaska and they worked with us, even allowing us to add people at the last minute because of changes to our party. Andrea and Jeremy were the best

We had Nick and Nigel as our guides. They worked hard to get us on to fish, fish the way we wanted (Salmon and Trout), and answered all our questions. We came home with a lot of Salmon and even greater memories. If they don't get you on fish, it is because the fish aren't biting. They work with each other on the river to talk about lures, location, and plans. I didn't feel like we got one guide, we had a team of them. Not to mention, they are smart guys. Very knowledgable and very good at what they do. Ask other guides in the area and they will tell you the same thing. I did and they too were impressed.

My wife and daughter only went fishing one day (when they helped arrange halibut fishing), but Andrea helped give them ideas about what to do in the area and they loved it. The hike to the falls was so memorable for them.

The lodge was in a perfect place and easy to get to. We slept a family of 5 in one cabin without an issue.

We will be back and there is no way we will look to anyone else.

If you are looking for honest, intregity filled people that work hard and know how to do what they say, then they are the ones.

Jeremy is AWESOME. He knows his river, where and how to find the fish. He has also secured great referral partners for halibut fishing and float plane fly-in trips. Every aspect of this trip exceeded our expectations. 7 people, 5 days, 350 lbs of halibut and salmon and none of us would be considered expert fishermen. Only 1 of our group had ever been to Alaska before. If I could give Alaska Drift Away Fishing 6 stars I would. If you are going to the Kenai Peninsula for fishing, call Jeremy you will not be sorry.

I've always wanted to go to Alaska and fish for Salmon. With very little research and some very good luck I landed upon the Alaska Drift Away Fishing web site. What I experienced with my son and my brother exceeded my expectations. Five nights in a great cabin and 4 days of great fishing. Kings, sockeye, halibut and rainbows. I never thought I'd see or certainly ever catch a 28 inch rainbow but Nick - our guide showed us the right technique in the right place at the right time. Jeremy put us on to Kings when conventional wisdom said they were not around any more! Over all great experience!

Tips? Soldotna, Alaska is isolated but just about ANYTHING you need you can get a supermarket/ walmart kinda place called Fred Meyers not far from camp. This means you don't have to over pack.

This is the company to book with! Whether you're a family with members learning to fish or a veteran angler hunting for trophy fish, they have you covered. The guide knowledge and their friendliness makes you feel like you're fishing with family or old friends. The guides weren't just there to run the boat. They enjoyed helping us learn and catch monster fish while holding an unparalleled respect for the land, wate, and fish. We couldn't have asked for a better adventure.

Salmon fishing and sightseeing in Alaska have been on my wish list for many years. My wife and I have never been to Alaska, though our son has visited twice. The three of us just back from a very memorable trip. Pat of our adventure was staying 4 nights at Silvertip Lodge and Cabins. Jeremy and his wife, Andrea, own Silvertip and he is co-0wner of Alaska Drift Away Fishing. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely stocked with many basic cooking amenities. Jeremy took us out for a day of fishing on the Kenai River. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the fishing habitat. We enjoyed a great day of catching salmon and enjoying the wonderful scenery.
In planning this trip, we mentioned to Jeremy a few things we also wanted to do and he, through his referral contacts, arranged additional adventures for us (float plane fly-out, halibut fishing and wild life/glacier boat tour). These agencies and the guides we met were of the same high quality as Alaska Drift Away Fishing and Jeremy. We owe Jeremy many thanks for all he did to help make our Alaskan adventure a truly awesome and memorable trip. We are already planning for a return trip and will definitely stay with Jeremy.
My wife, son and I highly recommend Silvertip Lodge/Cabins/Alaska Drift Away Fishing to anyone wanting a great fishing experience.

Let’s face it, bad guides are everywhere, and nothing is worse than blowing a ton of money and an afternoon spending time w/ a crappy guide. After years of mixed results from hiring guides to explore new water, I’ve finally learned the best way to find a guide is to ask a guide that you trust. That is how I found out about Nick and Jeremy’s team with Alaska Drift Away Fishing.

The results were nothing short of amazing! Not only did Nick put me in a position to net a new personal best wild bow within the first 15 minutes he also allowed me to break that record 2 more times over the course of the day. All in all, netted 6 fish over 20 inches with the final being a monster 25-inch wild bow with a 17-inch girth! We drifted close to 2 miles while fighting this fish. Being from the east coast, we are not raised to learn how to fight creatures this big… Thankfully Nick carefully choregraphed the entire fight which ended in successfully netting this monster.

Nick and Jeremy have a very methodical approach to each trip. They keep in constant contact via cell phone to discuss water conditions and fishing pressure. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger… Doesn’t get any better than this as I’m already looking at my calendar to schedule a return trip. This was very likely my best guiding experience in my life.

The only potential downside from fishing w/ Nick is that I’m likely spoiled for life as chasing 8-inch native east coast Blueridge brookies doesn’t excite me like it used to… Oh well, sign me up for another trip! Thanks again Nick for an amazing day I’ll never forget on the water!

We had a blast with Alaska Drift Away Fishing! The cabins were clean, comfortable, and had many amenities. We came up for 5 days in July and came back with almost 300lbs of fish to hit the freezer!

Jeremy, Nick, and Nigel are top notch when it comes to fishing guides in Alaska. They truly enjoy what they do, and enjoy sharing their passion with their clients.
Whether your an experienced angler or never fished a day in your life, Alaska Drift Away Fishing will be an experience you will never forget.

Tight lines!
