Travel by train overnight to Lao Cai is an efficient way to travel. Service onboard is good, softdrink, snacks and even cold beer. The sleeping cabin was clean with good pillows and comforters.

Hi there, The trains are not that bad. You may want to still take the trains but just watch out for dirty toilets as the it goes along and incase you get the coach near the joint to the next coach, bring along ear plugs... More
