I booked two tours: i) an easy trek to Cat Cat village ii) a 6-km trek to Laochai village i) The tour guide Shou has good English. She gave a detailed explanation. The trek is about 4 km on a paved way. The Cat Cat village is very commercial. However, the tour guide didn't push us and didn't ask for... More

We just returned from Vietnam and included in our trip was a 2 day Sapa tour. We caught the sleeper train from Hanoi which was an experience! We were greeted on arrival in Loa Cai and taken straight to our hotel in Sapa. We were given time to eat and freshen up. Our guide Thai was fantastic! We decided to... More

We signed up for the 12km trek and walked about 10.5km according to our watches. Our guide took a group of 8-10 of us from different countries on the trek. Whilst making for interesting company, this isn't so good as we would then be held up at the scenic spots where we took dozens of pictures and selfies in turn.... More

Booked a 2 day trekking trip through our hotel in Hanoi, and were pleasantly surprised and the quality of this tour. We were afraid of feeling like gawking tourists among the rich cultures and lives of the northern ethnic minorities, but we lucked out with our guide. His name was Dung (said Zom), and he was awesome. Any chance he... More

We had an amazing day on the one day tour with Sapa Pathfinder. Our hotel organised the tour and we were collected at the door by our guide at 9.30. We trekked down the mountain over the incredibly steep and slippery paths. I would not do this tour if you are not sure-footed and reasonably fit. Of course a group... More

How my gosh, from where I should start? I bought an half day trip to Fansipan and a full day trip around the valley. I specified well in advance that my mum (70 y.o.) and baby (2 months) would be in the trip, so everything had to be cool and relaxed, tours shorter if needed, but please well explained and... More

We booked late at night to do a 2 day trekking starting the next day. Initially there was some confusion about the time and pickup location which lead to some hassle the next day. (Guys, get your information right and note down ours) But once we started the trekking we had a marvelous experience. We were in a group of... More

Stunning views on our trip. Saw some local villages and culture and learned about the nature and agriculture. Our tour guide thang was really funny and helpful. He spoke very good English, gave loads of information and was open for some banter. No fishing for tips or reviews either, which is rare in Vietnam and a big reason why I... More

We booked a 1 day trek from our hotel to 3 villages, from lao chai ending in Ta van. Only 8 people in the group. Nice trekking day in the rice terraces and between the houses in the village. We had a great guide named: Chinh, i think. He was full of knowledge and intersting facts about the mong. He... More

We enjoyed our one day trekking to the local hill-tribe villages in Sapa because of the mountain and landscape. However the group tour they organized was not a very good job ever done. The tour guide took the group without doing his job to explain people about the local life or culture.. He was just leading the way.. However could... More
