We climbed FanSiPan mountain at the park.
The climb was inexpensive.
We did the climb in one day but had to start climbing by 06:00hrs to make in in one day.
The climb was challenging and should take between 5and 7 hours to get to the top.
You will need rain gear (I used a poncho) and good shoes as there are steep areas and slippery areas while climbing.
They have ladders attached the the rocks in areas that are very steep and slippery.
Once you get to the top, you only have 800 more stairs for the summit.
They have built this up into a tourist area where most people take the tram almost to the peak and either climb the remaining 800 stairs or take another gondola to the peak.
I believe a return ticket on the gondola runs 700k dong bit has fabulous views.
Once you get near the top the sights were not very good as you are in the fog and clouds.
If you want a good workout this climb is for you!
The price is modest but don't do it for the view at the peak.

I spend a lot of time bird watching in the area and constantly see people logging, trapping birds, and hunting. This often just a few hundred meters from the ranger station. What I have never seen is the rangers actually out on patrol. Like in many so-called protected areas in Vietnam, the flora and fauna is pretty much doomed.

The way we come into Love Water fall, we have to come to this forest, which is cold, and you can not see any wild animals around. It's easy to understand, because this forest is used for rare tree protection
