People tend to live fish and meat, but do not know where it is "produced". On this market you see and smell the slaughtering of chicken, geese, frogs, fish.. It is definetly an eye opener for most tourists.

All necessities in town, even goods from Thailand & Cambodia. Kindom of pickle fish, smelly for us, but sounds nice for the locals. Better to come & experience!

Walking through the market, you can really get a view of the local life in Chau Doc. Markets offer fresh fish and meats, many being cleaned and prepared in front of you. Fruits and vegetables line the many stalls as you pass through. The sights are amazing and the smells drifting through the markets remind you of the many foods offered. Worth a short walk through to experience the markets. Fun trip!
