We organised just a car to take us to a few temples while Ms San had another tour. On a day before the tour she came into hotel to say hello and agree the details, with a small gift. She is such a genuinely nice person with great English. Thoroughly recommended.

We met San then we first arrived in Chau Doc with our tour group and it is hard to not love with her. She is such an amazing, sweet, friendly, funny & knowledgeable person. Who is always smiling & laughing. I then joined her on our group tour early the next morning of the floating market. She is so much fun, always happy and has the best stories. Out of all of our travels she has been my favourite tour guide. Our group was picked up by bus around 6am and headed to the pier which was maybe 3mins away. Then arrived at our boat for a 2 hour tour. The floating market is not what I was expecting. I was thinking it was going to be like Bangkok. It sure was not. You are not in a narrow canal but in the middle of a bay. When my spouse saw pictures he was jealous he didn’t come with us and that he missed out on this opportunity. San we stopped at many boats. Got coffee’s for everyone (hot or iced) and pho. San made sure we got to see first hand how they worked out of there boats. The much large boats where selling local fruits to smaller boats, some personal use and some fur businesses. Everything so fresh! After being on the boat for about an hour. San took us ashore to see rural area, meet some locals and try a traditional pancake (which are delicious). We also got to watch a local weaver and make purchases directly threw her instead of in the markets. We were then off to the Tilapia Farm to see how it works. It was interesting to hear the stories and hear that if they do not farm them correctly large chain companies will not buy from them. Which is nice to hear.
After a short time we were back on the boat and heading back to the pier. At the pier we started out walking tour threw the local shops. We did not have much time to stop and buy much. But if you were quick you could make a purchase. We then said our goodbyes to San and away we went on the sleep bus to Siagon. I wish we had more time in Chau Doc and with San! Incredible lady in an amazing town. The price of this trip was bases on how many from our group joined us. It was $7 or $8 usd for the 2-hours and was worth every penny and more.

My and my bf took the tour today and came back completely amazed with all the totally unexpected activities we made! I usually don't write reviews unless something really impress me, and this tour did. Thanks you Ms San for sharing with us your culture and your personal life, we really apresiated it 🙏 PS: as you can see there is not a single bad review..all the bad reviews are actually wrong and don't belong to this tour

My girlfriend and I travelled SE Asia for 3 months and I think we can both agree that this was the best day of our trip. I say day, but Ms. San looked after us from the moment we have arrived in Chau Doc to the moment we left (we stayed for 2 nights). We thought we had just signed up for a trip to a bird sanctuary and a boat trip on the Mekong but it was SO much more than that. Ms San is so friendly and she gives a fantastic tour of the surrounding areas from dawn till dusk, and cracks jokes the whole time as well! A super big shout out goes to our last day. We had said goodbye to Ms San the night before thinking that was the last time we were to see her. However, she came to the bus station unexpectadly to provide us with breakfast! We then also had serious issues at the Cambodian border near Ha Tien with our transfer. I managed to call San who somehow sorted us a taxi in another country! (With no extra fee). She turned a very scary situation into an ultimately relaxing one She works magic! (p.s. I'm sorry this review is 14 months late) p.p.s I hope you received our postcard
