I have been a client of Esthetic Canggu (just near Canggu Plaza in Berawa) for 3 years.
The team there CONSISTENTLY do the very best eyelash perm, eyebrow shape and lash / brow tint on the island. I am a big bali-spa-child and like to investigate new spas as they open but keep coming back to Esthetic.
The eyelash perm is an amazing treatment performed over one hour by the expert therapist, Mony. I have no need for lash extensions with a 5 weekly perm and my eyelashes are in great condition. Just add a tint and you have natural long dark lashes.
Their brow tints never look over the top when done, and their tint products last a very long time plus do not sting as much as some can. Artistic attention to detail with lashes and brows every single time.
Bookings via email or telephone are easy and communication always very good.
Love to pop in for a quick wash and blow, love the detox facial and their massages are beautiful. Multi-tasking is their thing if you are short on time - get everything done at once (try the lash perm, eyebrow dye and bikini wax for an action packed hour! with results)
The space is clean, airy, relaxing and zen but not too sterile or 'sshhhhhh we are a spa!'. Many laughs can be had between clients and the girls are always engaging and happy.
On the extremely rare occasion I have had to make a comment to improve things (once in 3 years over a minor detail), the team are open to listen and genuinely take the time to consider my comments. This is an excellent customer service attitude that is a long forgotten quality standard in the beauty industry.

Each time l arrive in Canggu my first port of call on the first morning is Esthetic for a 1 hour massage. The girls have slight differences in their method, but the result is always the same. I leave completely relaxed and head downstairs for coffee in the plaza.

The best Brazilian waxing I've ever done! A very good atmosphere and a very good staff! The same for manicure, pedicure and massage sections!

My wife was doing her eyebrow at Esthetic Changgu. The result was not good and she feedback to the staff of her preference and my wife even tried to fix it herself. The staff (Nengah) was angry and told my wife to just “GO AWAY AND JUST DO IT AT OTHER SHOP!”. I was there and heard it myself too. Avoid this place unless you want to risk ruining your mood.

I've mostly done hair care at this and the Seminyak Spa of the same name. I don't trust them with hair colour anymore after a few mishaps with that, and the last time I got Keratin they skipped the last step and the results were not as good as I've seen elsewhere.
That said, they do a decent blowdry. Just be careful with the more permanent treatments.

I had a very disappointing hot rock massage here . The masseuse was rough . The stones too hot and one slipped into my head . The worst thing however was she did not treat me with dignity . The sheet was not offered for privacy and I felt very exposed . I will never return here . An unpleasant experience all round .

This is my go-to for a good hair wash and blow dry, a great massage and a beautiful detox facial.
I have the facial every second week and have noticed a big difference in my skin.
Good waxing also.
Spacious and calm, this is a great mid priced spa and always has plenty of staff for last minute bookings. Love the massage rooms and shower facilities for post-massage. sprucing up!

The spa is a really nice setting, well appointed and creates a tranquil environment. Very good massages even so we went back the next door for another and my wife had a few nail treatments. Overall, a very good spa and worth going to. A little more pricey than others but worth the price.

Esthetic Day Spa is still my favourite spa for Manicure, Pedicure, and Creambath in Canggu. The place is very clean, all the staff are very friendly and the price is very reasonable. I have been visiting this spa more than 8 years now.

Esthetic Spa
Hi. I was expecting to receive a call today from Netty of Esthetic Day Spa Seminyak however no call has been received.
My family, friends and I are frequent customers at Esthetic Seminyak and Padang Padang and recently I spent 800,000Rp in one visit on treatments. This is not unusual for me. The treatments I received were excellent however the next day to my surprise some of my gel nails peeled off completely.
I am particularly interested to see how you treat customers with a genuine and valid complaint as until now neither me, my family or expatriate friends have had reason to complain as we have been very happy and loyal customers.
The true test of any business and the honesty, ethics, compassion and integrity of its owners lies in the way they handle and respond to their customers. Accordingly, I ask that you call me. Your manager Kartika has my number.

Yes Netty attended to rectifying the problem once she became aware of it. Unfortunately her staff did not let her know of our complaint so she discovered it after our trip advisor post. This has been a learning curve in itself for her team of staff. Thank you Netty for your kind attention which just goes to prove your ethical attention to customers who may not experience the quality treatment they deserve the first time. Teddy & Graham
