10 out of 10 experience! Must visit whilst in Bali. We have been looking for an ethical plantation, that doesn't keep animals in cages to produce Luwak coffee, although the Bali Beans plantation grows only Arabica beans, they do have limited edition wild Luwak coffee. Animal wonder freely around the plantation and not being put in the small cages to suffer. The team is absolutely amazing, made our time at the plantation to remember! We got to see how the coffee being made and end up in our cup every morning! Super informative experience and absolutely welcoming atmosphere! Cannot recommend enough!

CoVid or not, these guys are roasting the best coffee in the Plaga region and doing it in some serious style. Cannot recommend ANYONE travelling in the area, or even NEAR the area, stops and visits. I stayed nearby and was on a mission to find out more about Bali coffee and WOW this family run roastery rocked my socks! Had at least 2 coffees a day, visited their plantation, learned SO MUCH about coffee and just felt such genuine enthusiasm from the tea. Adi, Novi, Ibu, thanks so much for having me and your kindness. I can't wait to visit you again! Coco & Simone x

I normally don’t write reviews but this place is too good to not share it with you guys so here goes. Despite the rain and the 1.5hrs by motorbike, if u are in need of seriously good coffee beans or just want a good cup of coffee. It’s worth the trip. Attended the bean journey lesson and I really learn so much from novi and her fellow barista. It takes a coffee lover to be able to tell the whole bean journey, sharing how the bean was grown until the point it ends up into your cup of java. She also clarified all questions or doubts that I had and her coffee was made on point! (Ps: if you are looking to be a barista, here might be a good place to start! Classes start in feb during the harvest season)

I learned so much during my visit at Bali Beans. Novi was a really skilled barista and answered all my questions! This is a real specialty coffee tour which I feel like you rarely can find in Bali. We visited the plantation, so nice to see and understand the growing process. Then she prepared 4 differents brews with different processed beans. Highlight of my trip for sure ! Thank you Novi!

Without doubt the best day we had in Bali! We did the organic coffee been journey at the Bali Beans Roasterie & plantation. Ayu Sudana and her family were simply amazing at explaining + showing us everything from, growing to roasting to serving the coffee in a cup. The coffee is the best we have ever tasted so we bought as many bags as we could to take home with us!...This experience is a must do for every coffee lover!...
