From the Jiefang Bridge, one can appreciate the different night scenes in Tianjin, by looking at the scenery on the two sides of the Haihe River. Also, there is the beautiful century clock.

This is just a bridge, but I like that it shows how different Tianjin is to other Chinese cities. Include this as art of any walking tour of the city.

Looks very old but they keep it un a good condition. Sometimes you can actually see water beneath your feet.

As we walking along the river we came upon this unique architectural bridge that one would never have expected in China. The modern centennial clock on one side of the river is such a contrast as is the nearby double modern bridge. Loved learning the history as described by others.

I do not normally find bridges fascinating, but there are so many bridges in Tianjin an all of different styles and ages, at night they all light up to put on a magical night show. The Bridge is an American designed, French built drawbridge from 1927. The bridge leads you to the Tianjin train station and the Century clock.

The Bridge of Ten Thousand Nations, Zhongzheng Bridge, or Liberation Bridge, all refer to this American designed, French built drawbridge from 1927. It connects the old French concession area with the old training station, and has been witness to the tumultuous modern Chinese history much like the city itself. Iconic old Tianjin.

loved these attractions, the bridge is steel but wooden footing across it, which takes you to the most amazing clock ive ever seen...it reminded me of steampunk tendencies, could have sat looking at these all day

an unique bridge, which can be “open up” for certain date to let the big cruise to pass through. it looks pretty together with other buildings when lights up at night.

it is just near to the Century Clock, and also walking distance from the Tianjin Train Station.

we walked here from the Italian Streets, took us around 20 minutes. and walk to Tianjin Station is about 5-10 minutes.

So at the end of the day, there are a lot of bridges in Tianjin and many of them are very pretty. This is but one of the many. What is notable in this insistence is the clock at the end of the bridge which is very pretty and timeless - almost like something out of a HG Wells novel。

The bridge itself it basically a steel structure, however, there are some interesting elements around the bridge and in particular the bronze erotic statues in the park next to the bridge are rather interesting! The lunar clock on the other side no longer seems to work which is a shame...
