The same rush...the same enthu... chilling at mc donalds... shopping... from the local market to the bighest brands...everything is available in one road... a mall one after the other... ! A church around and the local food!! Chicken fish octopus on sticks... i cant ever forget this place... i will go again and shop till i drop!!

It is only a long walking street with lots of shops. The street is undergoing renovation with plastic sheets, dirt and dust everywhere. No sitting areas unless you eat inside a cafe or McDonald. Don't bother unless you have plenty of spare time in Tianjin and cannot find anything else to do.
To get there by metro, catch metro line 3 to Yingkoudao station. Exit from B1 and cross the pedestrian bridge on the right will get you to the street.

It’s like a giant shopping mall. Small amount of treats not a lot of food. Half the walkway is currently under construction.

All over the world, I enjoy walking through pedestrian zones for the vibe. This particular street is just a collection of shopping centers, one after another. That means, to go shopping, you need to enter big, windowless, unattractive buildings. We walked down the whole street disappointed. The Ancient Culture Street was much more lively, albeit touristy. At least THAT has character.

Bianjiangdao is known to the Chinese as the place where couples go to walk, hold hands and spend time together. My wife and I go here every December to share a hot chocolate and enjoy the Christmas decorations that are on display. There are many stores to shop, although they are the high-end branded stores. They recently opened the Riverside Mall on one side of the street. Binjiangdao is very easy to get to as it ends at Yingkoudao station which is the junction of Metro Subway line 1 and 3.
