I rode it in summer night, all the lights of the city were dreamy. You can feel the heartbeat of this old but young city. It did make me emotional looking at my own hometown from the top of the wheel.

My friend, an engineer calculated the speed of the wheel and how many people would enter at a time and thought we'd wait... More

It was a while ago when I rode the ferris wheel even though I have lived in TJ for a long time. Someone was visiting and asked me to try it. I found the ticket price to be way to high for the duration. Also, there were very few people that night and they still forced a couple to have... More

Really worth visiting once in Tianjin. Unfortunately, I was short on time so I could only enjoy the view of ferris wheel and the atmosphere around it. I will most certainly go back within a few months and take a look at the city from above.

Although it seems like every city in China has its own wheel, this one is super nice, the entrance is cool and the views it offers are the best. My friends and I walked our way down to this spot and the area around is really cool, it actually has a European style. The ride takes about half an hour,... More

We were unsuccessful in trying to get a subway to the Eye of Tianjin, so eventually caught taxis from a shopping mall. When we arrived we were told the Wheel was closed - eventually someone who spoke english said it was due to pollution. We then walked along the river to a sightseeing boat. Did an hour ride and when... More

I went to the Tianjin eye in the evening. Great to see all the lights in the city. You have to wait in line. I guess it took about an hour waiting. It doesn't cost a lot of money. Tip: take a taxi. My hotel was at the railway center downtown. It cost me 10 yuan to get there (march... More
