Beautiful park
Aug 2019 • Solo
Not far from Wudadao historical preserved area, there is a park called People’s Park. There is a big pond in the middle, and around it there is a walking way. It is a nice place to take a break. The entrance is free, but as I went there, there were not many people.

Nice park, relaxing

I guess winter is not the best time to visit this park, but nevertheless it is a relaxing oasis in the city. The channels and main pond were covered in ice, so the boats are not operating. In spring and summer the park will look beautiful with all the greenery in full bloom, but it’s a bit bare in winter.

Your typical neighboorhood chinese park.

Although not very big, compared to other parks in the city, it is a nice place to take a stroll at the end of the day.
With a small lake and a few small squares, and bustling with people after dinner, it's worth a visit, especially around that time.

Fun

Beautiful park with lots of locals. They have some bird cages and a few kids rides. Also a sand box, trampolin, and boat rides for kids. In the park people were singing and dancing. The entire atmosphere was very relaxing and the kids had fun.

Spectacular
Jul 2016 • Couples
Huge park, with lots of areas to walk around, superb scenery and boating activities to join in with. Near to a mini-amusement park and some decent restaurants.
Expect big crowds as it is popular with the locals.
Multiple points of entry/exit, so make sure you have a local map and can find your way back to where you can get a taxi more easily.
Brilliant for those who love "classical" Chinese architectural styling

The park is beautiful, with plenty of locals using it to exercise. A very peaceful area to relax, walk and admire the beauty of the city

Nice little park where a lot of people have activities together. Really relaxing and interesting. It is not far from Tianjin Foreign Studies University (天津外国语大学).

Charming local park

Love this little park, Set in the middle of the most unexpected of places, but it is pretty, well designed, beautiful blossoms and spring flowers when we were there. We were the only westerners, this is a park for locals to relax in and enjoy. We loved watching the dancers, people practising their tai chi etc, the older generation singing and playing old instruments. A real little gem.

Such a beautiful place

I was in China during the summer with my school and we went to this park. I only just discovered what the park was called after doing some research. On summer nights, the park is warm and full of life with hundreds of locals out walking. The scenes are beautiful and it is a great photo opportunity. At night, there is also a large group of (mostly elderly) dancers. The music was loud, and it honestly looked like a lot of fun. As foreigners, my friends and I were more than welcome to join in the dancing which was one of the highlights of my trip :) Overall it was just a fantastic experience. If you are in Tianjin I would not miss going to Tianjin People's Park, particularly at night time :)
