Exceptional tour guide spoke perfect English. Lisa was very helpful to all in our tourist group. We all returned back to our cruise terminal safety.

We were collected from the port from our cruise ship at the agreed time by Mr Lee (driver) and Herbie (guide). The vehicle was immaculate with water provided. Mr Lee's driving was exceptional, given the the traffic (due to a public holiday). Mr Lee managed to mitigate unnecessary delays by choosing the best route and utilising the road well.
Our guide Herbie, was fantastic! He was so personable and spoke perfect English. He managed to get us around very crowded attractions (Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall and Summer Palace) with ease - even managing to find us spaces to take great photos. We thoroughly enjoyed his company, commentary and humour!

We booked Beijing Tours for a tour starting in Tianjin port, where our ship was docked for 3 days. We did their suggested itinerary of going to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the first afternoon, followed by the Great Wall at Mutianyu and the Summer Palace on day 2, and finally a rickshaw ride in a Hutong and the Temple of heaven on day 3 before returning to the port.
Easy to book from their link via emails, superb guide (Cindy), who got us through the crowds expertly during May 1 holidays (!), and excellent driver and car (VW Passat). They even went out of their way too to help us get to an acrobat performance on one evening.
Highly recommend Beijing Tours compared to doing ship-based excursions, which cost far more and have much more time needed on buses etc.
