We did a half day trip with Quinton. Very knowledgeable. He got us in the right place for silvers. We were only 1 shy of hitting our limit. We ended up keeping a couple pink salmon to make up for it. There was no shortage of fish to catch and even a seal swam by. Great experience with my family. We will keep these memories forever.

Perfect location. Excellent guide. Even the kids had great success. We caught a few giant salmons that were cleaned and cut for us, so we have enjoined a delicious dinner.

On day one, a group of 8 of us (mixed couples 30-70 years old) went on a Combo trip for Kings & Reds (sockeye). Unfortunately, ADGF shut down harvesting of Kings just a couple days earlier, which was fine by me, but some in our group wanted to grill their catch. This was communicated timely to us by Adam (owner) who does a great job of keeping clients informed. Quinton, who directly works for The River Crew took one of our groups of four out and they had a great time, although the fishing was not good AT ALL!! The boat caught one small King and ZERO REDS. Just bad timing on our part that the reds were not running strong at that time. The Other boat was given to an unknown freelancer who was contracted out at the pick-up location spur of the moment. This is apparently customary for larger groups (>4), but lacks a personal touch. After months of planning and talking with Adam several times, to be given to an unknown who is not part of the company at the last moment is a little bit of rolling the dice and took us off guard. But again, apparently this is customary for larger groups. The freelancer guide for our second boat was very knowledgeable and put us on the fish, but lacked the "customer touch" and friendly demeanor that Quinton has. The second guide seemed to labor over simple conversation, although I'm sure answering the same damn questions (how long have you guided, do you live locally, etc.) everyday/twice a day gets old, but that's the business your in! All that being said... in the second boat WE CAUGHT FISH. Again, not a record day as the reds were slow as crap! But we caught a 50+ pound King and a handful of reds. So, when it came to fishing, the guide knew his stuff! And even though we had to release the King, it was a glorious moment! We also booked a three hour trip later that same week. As fate would have it, the ADGF shut down all Kings fishing in between our trips, so we had to go for Reds. Again, this was all communicated by Adam in advance (as he found out) and options were provided. I think this three hour Reds trip offered by The River Crew is a GREAT IDEA and a GREAT WAY for visitors to experience Reds fishing (most years when they are actually running), and receive first rate instruction, for a minimal outlay of funds. Way to go Adam! The four of us who had been with the freelance guide were now with Quinton, and boy what a difference in personality! It was a relaxing, enjoyable day. The reds were even slower than the first time out. We caught ZERO reds for the first 2 hours and 50 minutes. With only 10 minutes left in our day the Reds started to hit. Now, most guides would have headed to the barn when time was up. Quinton did not. He knew this was precious time to us and stayed OVER AN HOUR EXTRA on a three hour trip!! We almost limited out in that time. Much appreciated. Now that's customer service, with a smile I might add!! So there it is... I highly recommend The River Crew. Adam and Quinton are first rate all the way. Straight shooters and stand up guys. They can't control how many fish are in the river, but they do their best to put you on them and their customer service and boats are first rate.

The two of us went out with Quinton for a half day at the end of September for silvers, we had a great day, he is knowledgeable and friendly. We felt at ease and chatted away whilst catching our salmon, he kindly filleted them for us for diner too!. Far better than other fishing experiences we had that week, and good value for money. Would definitely recommend, thanks

Quinton was excellent. My wife and I had a great time. Fishing was said to be slow but we hooked three silvers and landed one thanks to Quintons knowledge and experience. Thanks for the great time. Plan on coming back!
