If you want to get a lay of the land and see what Palmer is about, stop by the Visitor Center. It talks about the history of the town and has souvenirs for sale.

We really enjoyed the free museum at the Visitor Center and information on how the area was settled. Highly recommend a stop here when you visit Palmer.
