The 44 inch tires on the 4X4 van were necessary due to the most water that Tom ever saw there. You ride in the van out to the boat which takes you for the amazing ride. It was my second time and the water was so much higher than the first time there that it was a little worrisome. We... More

What an amazing tour. Tom, the owner, is highly accommodating when he can and provides a terrific tour. We've taken family on the tour and they loved getting the chance to see a glacier so close. Tom has kayaks you can take out to paddle around in the calving ice. The glacier is shrinking. Come see it while you can!

Fantastic, well worth every dollar. Friendly host who is very informative and lovely to meet Gerry the squirrel who helped us to eat our trail mix at the half way break.

The ride in the army vehicle and on the air boat was really neat, went through rivers and creeks, rough ground but the ride was not too rough. About 6 miles on land and 6 miles on the water. Got to the lake and on the boats and went close to the icebergs in the water at the end of... More

There are many activities to chose from when one visits Alaska. This is an option not to miss! The entire time spent with Tom is educational, exhilarating and a true adventure! That a very well done tour that you can do in family, you will make a short trip of road that was nice and then a short ride on a boat to arrive the the glacier and be able to spend around 1 hour to walk to get different point of view or just stay to see the ice floating.... More

4x4 to boat to glacier. Fun tip to the glacier. About 8 mile trek to the actual ice. Family loved it. Amazing views of a huge glacier. Dress warm.

Excellent tour to the glaciers - worth the trip. Take a 4x4 vehicle and then transfer to a quick jet boat before arriving at a different world. Be sure to bring warm clothing especially if you have kids.

The Knick river glacier tour is an amazing sight seeing opportunity. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Alaska. I would recommend sax close toed shoes and jackets. If you tend to get cold bring a pair of gloves. You will love every second of this beautiful excursion.
